I'm currently uploading everything else except for FF7 part 2. For that one, the sync encodes are all screwed up for some reason, though the raw dvd footage is just fine, so I'll just do that one myself.

However I'm also leaving for a few hours, so it might not show up in the directories until then. If you want, you can look at incoming/, but any files in there might be... well, incoming. And incomplete.
I hope I'm doing these correctly.

Also, I just synced the two dvd video files for the race to xsplit ones.  Do you need corresponding frame numbers between the two dvd files as well?  I hope not, because syncing the race was really stupid.

Ninja Gaiden Race (xsplit1):

xsplit                : 2012-01-05_133038690.1.avi
dvd (jman)        : 09 Ninja Gaiden - NG3 - TMNT IV TIT
other (sinister1) : R1 Ninja Gaiden.avi

Jman:
(The first 12 second or so of Jman's gameplay are not on the DVD recording, The first available frame on the dvd version is 88029, which corresponds to frame 5229  in the xsplit copy)
xsplit      -      dvd    -    Description
5990              89779        1-1 ninja darkens

9839              97089        2-2 Item get (one of the last frames of that clip)

Sinister1:

2922              45221        Pre-Game 5-1 fadeout (JMan has no corresponding pre-game footage)
4884              49145        First enemy killed
9652              58683        2-2 Item get (after first death)

(n.b. There a minute or so in between where there is no corresponding xplit footage)

Ninja Gaiden Race (xsplit2):

Yeah, that's pretty good. I just realized my idea for automating the syncing won't work for races, but there's only eight of those so I think I can deal.
Quits halfway
Sorry to be late on posting, but something's wrong with my codecs and I can't seek in xvid stuff at all. Not sure what the problem is, but I probably won't be of much use for this.
Sorry, I'm being kinda lazy with this.  I'll pick it up soon.

eiher im stupid, or the oot run is missing footage, "44 Ocarina of Time Pt1" ends at the shadow temple, and "45 Ocarina of Time Pt2" picks up at nabooru cutscene (way later)...
majoras mask seems to have all the footage so i will sync that now (i know you wanna go in order but since i have them, i might aswell work on them)

It's certainly possible that some of the DVD cuts are imperfect, I'll go check that one. It would be helpful to know just how much footage is missing (timestamps on xsplit, for example) so I know whether I should bother hunting it down.

Edit: Yeah, there's a bunch missing from the middle there, we'll have to figure out how much and get somebody to burn it off.

its ~1 hour thats missing, i would just ask them to burn from shadow temple entrance to after sprit medallion cutscene (nabooru cutscene).
(if you need frame number or specific timing on this, let me know)...
anyway, mm sync points:

AVI : 46 Majoras Mask Pt1.avi
Xsplit: 2012-01-08_011526688.2.avi

AVI      XSPLIT      DESC
6459    8787        absolute first sight of fade in on "in the land of hyrule...", timer at 3.87
114215  62662        first frame after "you got zora mask" dialog, timer at 30:01.30
269960  140534      first frame of chest opening, timer at 1:13:19.83
426993  219049      p1 cuts out at the worst possible spot, timer at 1:56:69.61

AVI : 46 Majoras Mask Pt 2.avi
Xsplit: 2012-01-08_011526688.2.avi

AVI      XSPLIT      DESC
(first frame of gameplay is 8, before that is kinda messed up)
218      219142      first frame of link visible, timer at 1:57:02.71
41391    239727      last frame boss is dead, timer at 2:08:29.57

since the dvd footage was cut during a freaking giant walking cutscene, it was really hard for me to tell the correct frames, but i think i did a good job.

It would be helpful since I don't have the dvd recorders, yes. The timer from the xsplit recordings should be enough.

In other news, I'm trying to figure out some overlay stuff so it'll seamlessly transition from xsplit to dvd footage, assuming it works I can start doing some of these encodes...

Some good news: Avisynth has an equalizer plugin that I was able to use to filter out the TV whine in some test segments I did.

The bad news: It muffles the commentary very, very slightly. I'll post some test footage for comparison and people can tell me if they think it sounds good.

Edit:

http://uranium-anchor.com/speed/sda/agdq2/eqtest-noeq.avi - without the filter
http://uranium-anchor.com/speed/sda/agdq2/eqtest-witheq.avi - with the filter

I can still hear the whine a little bit, but it's not nearly as bad.
I think it sounds good with the filter; the whine is barely noticeable, or at least not as grating to me anyways, and it was pretty easy still understanding everything.

And, more of this crap:

If Yoshi's Story goes well, I might try to get a couple others done before I have to vanish for the weekend. (Yay/arg moving!)

Once I get all settled in I'll have my encoding rig and in theory things should progress a lot faster.

Psychonauts is up too. God Hand is going to take literally hours to encode, not sure how much I can do about it until I get moved and can use the streaming rig again. I have some ideas but they'll require more disc space than I have currently available.

Edit: Strider, Shinobi 3, Ninja Gaiden 3, and TMNT 4 are now available and should be showing up in the list shortly.

Edit: Toejam and Earl and Kid Chameleon should be available soon. Last you'll be seeing from me until Sunday at the earliest.

ask them to record from 49:57 to 1:57:00... because the begining of the cutscene is also missing
I'm sure this would have been done eventually, but AGDQ 2012 needs to be added to the Features page, now that there is no marathon link on the front page anymore.  That being said, it would probably also be a good idea to have a "Marathons" link on the front page so people unfamiliar with the site can find the marathon pages more easily.

I apologize if this is not the best place to post this, but I didn't feel like making a new thread about it.
that Metroidvania guy
I was going to add the download link to Features once a nice chunk of the encodes were good to go on there. Some of them are done, but not a whole lot yet, really. Expect it up in a few days and with a few more tweaks too (PJ suggested allowing YouTube vid links in a colum, where I would delete Prizes or something, and then I was going to have runner names linked to their twitch accounts. Sound good?).

One thing I noticed is that since it apparently uses csv, is that commas in cells screw up the alignment, OOT for example had a "link" that consisted of a prize description or something.
My feelings on The Demon Rush
Yeah, you have to use semicolons instead of commas.
