I love YaBB 1G - SP1!

could it be possible? i have been playing this game alot and was thinking if I ever get the equipment I will make a run of the game(I own both so it wouldn't matter which one) I even found a small sequence break in the plane of torment in RTA.I would just want to know which character would be the best for the speedrun.

Plane of torment in rta? As in, where you shadowstep/giant growth w/ shaman (if that increases speed) across what is normally too far to go with a flame?

Yeah, I've thought it was possible for a while. Never tried it tho, I don't actually own the game. Tongue

If you do rta, I'd definitely go down the good path with a shadow knight (only putting one point into shadow-step until after the seq. break, to save mana while performing it). Being able to confuse enemies on demand would be a game-breaker. And I hate mithaniel marr as the end-boss, especially his floaty stab.

If you can manage to save all the gnomes on gnome's isle easily, and you absolutely need a couple more levels than what you gain normally, save them all, then go to the castle, run straight through to the troll boss (smashur, I think?) and take him out to gain a couple levels instantly.

I haven't played enough con to offer any advice.

The above is all assuming you start fresh from a new game.

my trick was with my barbarian character: I got the flame near that portal and rapidly summoned the charge spell till I got to the flame near the building and i just barely made it. But also I guess that would save time. i also want to know if I could use my current character on a playthrough(I would be playing on legendary difficulty which is reccomended for a level 65+ character so playing with a fresh character would be suicide and you wouldn't be able to use most of the items you would find)

I meant starting a fresh character in the first difficulty level.

awesome. I think after i have done all i can in the normal game(get some practice with the shadowknight character and find the best paths through all the levels) I will attempt my speedrun.
