I looked through the games list, and noticed there wasn't a run of any tekken games. i've started to speedrun it, and i'm wondering if anyone else would be interested in tekken runs.

Fighting game runs aren't that popular but there's no reason why they can't be run. I know Tekken 3 in particular like the back of my hand; I know Xiaoyu has an almost-guaranteed-against-AI move string for 100% damage, I'm sure similar things could be developed for other characters.
You're not here.

I'm just gonna link this TAS to explain why there aren't any Tekken runs. It's because you just find the one thing that breaks the AI and repeat that on a loop for the rest of the run. Fighting game speedruns in general tend to be like that. Plus runs of your standard fighting game's Arcade mode aren't usually terribly distinguishable from just regular playthroughs in the absence of an AI breaker.

However, if you're going to run Tekken 3 there's at least one game mode that would probably stand to make an interesting run and that's Tekken Force mode. That plays more like a beat em up so I reckon that'd be a more interesting and fruitful avenue for speedrunning.
