5-8p madcoop

I just had a thought of a great madcoop. There have been only 3p madcoops this year so how about one or more 8p records?

-We need to discuss about the map, it's an iD map for sure.

-The category: Easy Run, Easy 100%, Nightmare Run or Nightmare 100%. Some ultimate tricks could be done in Runs and 100%'s offer super fast map cleaning.

-Who hosts? I have only 2Mbps upload which might be too slow.

-Routes, the most important things in every speedrun.

-Time? 17th-18th November?

This kind of coop requires teamspeak, ventrilo or something for communication. Mainly to help connecting without telefrags. Smiley

So, who are interested of playing?

I can't think of a possible run madcoop (apart from e4m7 perhaps, but it has already been done). So it should probably be some crazy 100% Smiley

I know, I live 10.000km away, but I'd be glad to join the madness nevertheless.

The discussion yesterday reduced maps good for very mad coop to four maps. Later, while watching demos I decided that two maps will stand. E4m4 and e4m7.

Well then... route planning... haven't done it yet. Tongue

Coop is an easy way to start quake speedrunning. You don't have to be damn good runner or low pinger to have lots of FUN.
Right now I have a very bad connection but next week I should get a better one, so I can host coops then.
Earlier I was thinking only of id maps. I totally forgot that there are great custom maps too. Something like hdn, gmsp3, cjhsp1, nastrond etc.

Other good maps for coop are the deathmatch classics episode and... uh... minimal devastation Cheesy
