500 games run! [locked]

Well, actually it's 499 now, but I'm pretty sure the next update will bring the half-thousandth game runned on SDA (except if the update only have improvements of previous runs). It's a great milestone, since six years the site is running. I didn't counted the number of runs however, but i'm pretty sure it's close to 1000, and maybe more.

By the way, completely off topic but always SDA-related, I began to start a blog on blogs.wefrag.com, which bring every SDA update translated in french language.

Here some milestones:
- Shortest run: Clue in 0:00:03
- Longest run: Final Fantasy X in 10:25
- Longest SS run: Pokémon Fire Red in 5:16
- Most segmented run: Half-Life in 0:31:00 (180 segments)
- 294 games have a "normal run" under 1 hour
- Most runned platform: PC with 178 games, followed by PlayStation 2 with 90 games and NES with 86 games
- Most common times: 0:41:40 and 4:39, with three runs each

i've been wondering for a while now what the 500th game will be. for a second, i thought Dracula X Chronicles would be it. but i quickly shot my hopes down when i realized DXC would be tracked on the Rondo of Blood page.

if any game deserves such an honor here, its Castlevania 4.

Mike wanted Clue to be 500 but it would be unfair to make it wait when it was ready.

I actually wanted to game the system so Home Alone was 500, but again, too much integrity, lol.

How about Dawn of Mana? That's been in the success waiting for update list for longer then anything here, but was only there for so long because I was waiting for the arena bouts to get re-verified (which they look like they aren't now). Initial plan of making life easier for the staff? Well, guess that didn't work out so well.

It's perfectly legit to have a sentence begin with and, but it's not always the best way to begin one.

'500 games run/ran' should be '500 games have been run/ran', depending on context and tense.

As a title, it doesn't need to be a complete sentence. "500 Games Run" is correct (~~"run" is used adjectivally and thus requires the past participle. It has nothing to do with passive/active voice~~ Never mind, ExplodingCabbage was right. The passive voice is implicit; the context indicates that the tense should be the same as that in "500 games have been run").

And I know that most (though not all) schools of thought on grammar say it's alright to start a sentence with 'And'. I was just being facetious since you'd just made an equally dubious criticism by complaining a title wasn't a sentence.
