I have seen an is-nitro-capture for sale on amazon just recently for £1499.99 take a look its second hand but works fine, was wondering if this is a good price as I really want 1 😄

We're all aware of the official device by Nintendo used by developers and media companies. We're just not part of the 1%ers who can afford one. I mean, I don't have $2400 USD to get that. Loopy's device cost me much MUCH less.

1. Is it worth it?
A. From a collectors standpoint, yes. From a general speed runner stand point, no. Loopy's device does a great job for FAR less in cost. It may be slightly more hassle, but not to the point of me spending $2300 USD more.

2. Is it legal to own/sell?
A. I'm not lawyer, but the answer really depends on the contract between those that get the devices from Nintendo and Nintendo itself. It's probably not legal for them to sell them, but I've never heard of Nintendo going after somebody for selling one. Doesn't mean it can't happen though. And there's no way I can truly know w/o ever seeing a contract in regards to use of the device.

I too am interested in getting a 3ds capture card so that I can record my favorite ds games and post them on my youtube channel, I already have an old 3ds to instal the card into, but I would rather have some one install it for me. I am willing to wait for this product, get all the bugs fixed ect. and I hope to hear from you soon Loopy, post to my youtube channel, or to me on this site which ever works best for you.

It shouldn't need to be disabled, you just need to change the default device. This was posted in my other forum, I put up a beta version that lets you choose the input source (normally the app picks whatever's set as default).

The sound card in one of my computers is kinda screwy. In Windows 7, if you have "Listen to this device" checked in the sound settings, only one thing can be listened to at a time (Line or Mic in) and only the one being "listened to" can be recorded from. I fixed it by unchecking the "Listen to..." box, you can enable output from the output speaker settings instead.

[edit] BTW, the same software update was posted for the DS board too, if anyone is using that.

Yes, I will make one for 3DSXL. It's hard to find the time to work on it, I'm tempted to stop selling boards for a month or so just so I can get some work done. Most of my time these days is spent just handling incoming orders.
