The card uses generic WinUSB drivers.  I guess if you've installed something else that uses them then you don't need to do it again.

And Greenalink was a bit wrong, as I've got a few YouTube Comments about 3DS Emulators, 3DS ROMs, etc.
I especially liked the guy who said this, on one of my New Super Mario Bros. 2 Videos: "It's definitely an Emulator and ROM, because it was recorded before August 19th." (as far as I can remember).

Someone commented on my video to tell me I didn't understand what I was saying because 3D recording is "physically impossible".
Damn Sad

It's not only possible, but YouTube has support for 3D video uploads. Typically for the red-blue 3D variation but still...

Be sure to break the interlacity barrier with the quackinator, by having the tootery cable connected to the xylophone. Solves all the 3D capturing problems.

I think I need a turbo encabulator in there somewhere too.

Actually once YouTube knows what the 3D is user can select what form of 3D display they want to use. I'll admit to not being 100% familiar with it, but I don't see why it would restrict it.

My creative juices pale in comparison. You have won.

Yeah, I'm not familiar with it other then the fact that they have it. I remember the Virtual Boy using a split image display to do psuedo-3D but I don't know how the 3DS does it. I don't have the system yet anyways...too broke!
I got 3D capture working months ago.  I'm just throwing out half the lines to get 2D.  The main reason I don't have it now is there's hardly any need or demand for it.  Does anyone here use a 3D display with their computer?

I do, but I don't use the 3D often. It just feels kinda incomplete to me to have the system in 3D but only capturing 2D.
~nya~
I also have a 3D display.
AlphaStrategyGui des.com
I'd like the 3D enabled as - professionally - it'd give our strategy guides a definitive edge that no-other guide publishers will have. (And you can display 3D on YT can't you?)
I have a 3d display! Cheesy
loopy: While 3D is neat, please do give priority to digital audio capture! We need the noise sorted out.
I agree with the guest who posted previously to me (who should get an account) - whilst my soundboard might not be the most top of the line of soundboards, it still is good enough to have next to no grind, but there still is some noise when capturing audio through the 3.5mm cable. I'd like to have digital audio before any of the other features you have planned, in my personal opinion that is. I'm not sure how everyone else feels.

I don't know many people who own a 3D Display, or even plan to use the 3D Video (or why you'd want to cater to such a limited audience if you plan to publish the videos you record) - but I know from my own experience of using the card is my one and only gripe is the audio feedback.

It's a fantastic device, overall though.
In case anyone's buying a board and getting worried... I am shipping noise filters with all boards now.
It's still important, and it'll be the next thing I add, but I don't think it's such a critical issue anymore.
Capturing through line-in seems to work fine with the noise filter Loopy included, so Im not too terribly worried. If/when sound over USB and 3d capture comes, Ill be happy, but I can wait until then since it is already working great.
Which noise filter is it as I was one of the first people to buy a card from Loopy and didn't get a noise filter with it?
Yeah, since Loopy is supplying a noise filter now, I'd say the priority of having either USB audio capture or 3D recording is the same. For 3D, I don't know many people who even have a 3D monitor or 3DTV yet, seeing that they are very expensive right now, and that people are just moving into HDTVs. I guess 3D is a nice thing to have in case there are people truly watching the video with a 3D capable screen. Is there a huge difference (in terms of file size) between 3D recording and normal recording?

One like this.  I got a few nicer ones like these, I haven't decided what I'll do with them yet.  Maybe if someone wants to pay extra I'll send it instead.

Stay away from something like this though (just a ferrite stuck on a cable), it won't do anything for you.

The Kensington ones looks nice, thanks I'll look into it!
Yeah, loopy, I'd be willing to pay extra (15-20 extra) for the Kensington one. That thing looks mighty sleek.

I would too, especially since it seems that the first noise filter is just an adapter, so you'd still need to get another normal audio cable.

The problem is that I don't have Line-In in my PC, so I need a USB-sound card and that's the reason I only can use this adapter.

BTW, do you get a noise, too, if you press a little bit on the case near the word "Power" or is this just a problem of my capture device?
The 3DS on ebay went for $990!
WOW that's a lot!!

I don't understand... don't USB sound cards have the same kind of inputs as a PC (standard 3.5mm jack)?

He's stating his computer does NOT have a line-in jack (probably due to being a laptop I guess) so in order to have one, he's gonna need a USB card.

Though a microphone jack should work fine as well, just not quite as cleanly (I find I usually get more static w/ mic in over line in).
