I tried two other things:

1: TV cancel from the bonus TV that doesn't require anything, while "disabling" it.

2: TV cancel from the 22 remote level.

Both ideas failed, let me explain why:

1: By putting enemies on screen during the TV canceling, I produced lag and the bonus TV stopped sucking Gex in. Instead, the game crashed as if there was no TV. But when I went to the position to enter the final boss, it still crashed.

2: The TV of the 22 remote level is still too close to be usable for rez early :/

There just HAS to be a way...
Hey guys, awesome to know that there is some use for the stuff I found.  I'm going to return to this game in a few days, also Zander offered this for SGDQ so if we can break the game before then that would be awesome.

Hello Frogburt,

very very nice findings. Hope you can break this game completely ^^

Here is btw the Walljump in Gex EtG:

Maybe this is possible in Gex 3 too
I'm back with a new find:

A bit risky, but still faster if you get it. It also avoids the camera problems of the normal route.

I actually found two things, but the second one is so precise that it isn't unlikely that I never reproduce it. I can try to explain it though: In Mao Tse Tongue, in the room with the three ropes you need to grab, I managed to skip straight to the platform with rope 3 by using an extremely precise tailbounce. I was just messing around while talking to exe on skype and suddenly, Gex was on the platform ^^
I am completely stumped.  I have found a way of fairly easily clipping out near the Superhero Channel, however it still seems incredibly hard to do in a run.  I also messed around with remote duping but nothing seems promising.  If anyone has any suggestions on duping remotes or even possibly wrong warping in the N64 version I'd really appreciate it.
So I found a bit of a lead but it is a massive stretch.  Basically a guy on YouTube told me that the loading zones for the levels are always present in the level, they are just stored at some point out in space.  I was wondering if anyone confirm this and if it is true how I could go about locating this spot.  It would take me a lifetime to fall through every point in Funky Town so if anyone knows how to take apart a ROM and find where this point is or knows someone who can do such I would be massively appreciative.  Thanks.

I mean, that theory could be possible, but in most cases triggered loading zones like switches and such don't exist till the game tells it it is okay to exist. If that makes any sense.

Found this clip in the Gex Cave, turns out that it actually is possible on the PSX version making it the first known way to clip out there (Another method had already been found).  This can be used to skip a boss and the wreck room similar to the N64 run.

Another clip I found.  As usual no clue about it working on PSX.  As for the N64 run we now save warp from the Buccaneer Program and do this clip to skip the boss.  Also because of the new cutscene skip below we only have to do this clip once.

Basically just do the setup as I do then hold up anytime after the bee starts its attack animation you have a ton of frames to get it so it's pretty easy to do unbuffered but it's so important to get in a run it may be worth it just for consistency.
So after seeing the new skips on tut TV for Gex 3 PSX I remembered the weird wrong warp that Crash found and was thinking that it may be possible on tut TV as well.  I thought I'd post this just in case someone wanted to try.

I finally finished the first level in my Gex: EtG TAS. Sorry that this took so long, TASing Gex can be extremely frustrating and it killed my motivation again and again. But now that the tough first level is done, I'm entering Smellraiser 2933 frames ahead of Mukki!

Saw that one live. And the heartbreaking end to the -1:00 pace run right after it. Damn you, Rez!

This strange glitch occurred while I was attempting to recreate another glitch in which the gangster kills you while on the "Congratulations" screen and the level restarts while still maintaining that screen.  Anyways I messed up and let the gangster push me onto the button before the cutscene started which normally would soft lock the game however, something totally weird happened and the game teleported me back to the machine gun in c-up mode.  I would be very curious to see if this glitch simply teleports you back to the last place you c-uped so that it may be able to be used as a TAS trick.

So when the Rez early glitch was first discovered I wrongfully assumed that collecting 31 bonus tokens would be slower than 30 remotes.  Turns out it's actually over 10 minutes faster!  Even though this would seem to be a huge breakthrough I've run into and issue that I was hoping maybe one of you may be able to explain/resolve.  Basically the glitch seems to not work at all on console, no matter what I've tried it simply softlocks every time I touch the ground.  Any help at this point is super appreciated, if we could get this to work I think a time around a 35 would be possible which would be amazing.  In case any of you need a refresher on the glitch I'll post my way over explained video below.  Thanks all.

Great news, talked with Zander and we actually got it to work.  Prepare for the sub 30!
I messed around in Gex 3 and did this:

This may be already known, but why not having a video of it?

I also had another idea for 0 remote failing... I tested out what happens if you go through a loading zone during a TV cancel, on Gex 64 it just crashes, but maybe this game would react differently? Turns out that it does in fact not crash, but you also can't do any fancy things like "preserving" a property for entering a level. If you could carry over such a property, it would theoretically be possible to use the 0 remote bonus level to enter Rez' TV early.
Yeah after TV canceling you can basically do what ever you want as long as you're not standing idle on the ground (gliding, floating, etc...) I even got it to work once where I did a frame perfect crouch and was able to stay crouched on the ground indefinitely without getting warped away.
Also have you tried entering the sewers after TV canceling off the 0 remote TV and then coming back?  It isn't a proper loading zone it's just one of the ones that teleports you so maybe it could disable the other TV or something by some crazy chance.  From what I've seen in this game I'm 100% sure that a 0 remote run is at least possible in a TAS, it's just a matter of finding it.
Going back does nothing, but I want to try if I can trigger the loading zone and the level entering at the same time.
That's an interesting idea.
So with the recent developments with the Gex 3 any% route and how much I hate it and want it to change, it got me thinking, what actually triggers the credits?  I believe it's triggered when you collect the remote after defeating Rez.  But how does the game know where the remote came from?  What I'm getting at is, could it be possible to trick the game into thinking that a remote you just collected came from Rez?  I know I'm really going out on a limb with this one but maybe it could be possible to sort of "store" the final level so that when you collect another remote it would send you to the credits and you would beat the game.
