I'm aware how it's supposed to work, but that absolutely cannot be trusted. Many sellers will swap the backs of carts. Super Famicom cart backs especially are known to yellow, so they'll probably swap something like a Derby Stallion II back with the Zelda 3 since it's a more popular/expensive game. In fact, I might have actually swapped the backs before. "21" was on the back of this cart.

The ROM chip however did have SHVC-ZL-0 on it. I have another cart with "01A" and the chip has SHVC-ZL-1 printed on it... I would say nothing here is really concrete evidence, playing it is the only way to find out.

Well, if you can get into the cart, then the ROM chip is completely reliable. I don't think anybody is going though the trouble of resoldering chips to fool you.

And yes I'm aware that the plastic cart isn't 100% reliable, but 99% of the time, if it's genuine, it is.

I'm not saying someone would swap the ROM chip, but I do not know if that code indicates the version, as opposed to manufacturing date, factory of production, etc etc.

ANYWAY if someone wants this or knows someone let me know.

I have more R&F carts now. I sold one to romscout a while ago. I probably have to raise the price from that initial point, since I was actually losing money after shipping costs and whatnot.

There's one V1.0 LttP cart left. One is being held for someone.

It's funny you posted about Magical Pop'n, because I did have a copy, and I sold it yesterday. Good luck finding a copy of that one, it is rare and pricey.
