My feelings on The Demon Rush
I know someone asked for this in the #smw marathon thread, so I decided to fetch some statistics. I know I'm late, but I actually fetched these statistics Monday and then forgot to post them. Sad

Anyway, without further adieu.

AGDQ 2012:

Maximum Concurrents

Unique Visitors

Follows

Unfollows

SGDQ 2012

Unique Visitors

Maximum Concurrents

Follows

Unfollows

You might notice I didn't get chat activity statistics. I didn't fetch those statistics because they didn't look very accurate (I guess it's from using IRC).

EDIT: I think I can also fetch SGDQ 2011 statistics. Any marathon before that is on ustream though, so I don't think I can get those statistics.

Highly Evolved
Are the times EDT?

EDIT:

Wait, didn't we start SGDQ at 1 local time last year?  That's be PDT, then.
Follows and Unfollows are backwards. Tongue
This is very useful for telling when the zelda runs were.

DW: Yeah times are Pacific Time.

Kwinse: Should be fixed.
Insane Killer Robot
The graphs show how things progressed pretty well.  Mike, out of curiosity, is there any way to get approximate viewer counts per-game during each marathon?

/me looks at the AGDQ stats, then the SGDQ one.

Yep, I can tell when Cosmo was on. It's way up.
I can also tell when I'm on. It's way down. Nobody wants to see the old man. Tongue
Caution: This user contains Kana ^_^
I notice that the unfollow numbers here are more or less exactly the same as those for #smw. Which makes me support my theory that all unfollows are random occasions and cannot be counted towards or against chat quality.
