I know that it doesn't really matter but I found this. The platform auto switches you to the lazer, so you just have to either grab the button before you stand on the platform with a different gun out or stand on the platform then switch weapons.
I had wondered what caused this to happen, I saw this happen when I testing way back but always thought it was due to one of the later laser gun upgrades or something as I never got it to happen in a run. Anyways, cool find :3!

Hello! I think I have found something that may become of some use. I have found that in most cases you are able to clip into any polygon that moves in the game. For example in chapter 6 right at the start when you are moving though the rubble to get into the London Nortica, a hound jumps and the car smashes him. He's then stuck moving the car and the rock next to it. You can just crouch and walk into the car and the rock.
I think this is a bug throughout the whole of the game with the hitboxes, as you can clip in the moon base. I thought this infomation would be useful to anyone wanting to find OOB stuff:)

Also yeti, what do I need to do to change my no loads time? Also are you keeping in Cutscenes? We should make a template that we all do so there arent any inconsistencies
OOB Glitch chapter 6 - Doesn't really add to the run, it just shows that you can walk in the car. Maybe look around in the game for other moving animations and you might be able to walk into them and go places that you shouldn't be!:)

You dont have to do anything yet, I will time your first loads for you. I just didn't have time to do it on the day that I did the other two. And I will make a template for the loads. I will go through the run and then make a google doc which I will link on the leaderboards when I have some time
So yesterday me and ForgivenDeath32 had a little pow-wow and found that the trigger for closing the door in the lunar clip is really close, and if you time it right, you can get...
things .... enjoy they arn't really of much use currently but folks can play around with them.
This one actually is useful - if you use the station on the catwalk to charge your lazer the panzer hound destroys the barrier behind you allowing you to drop down.
I would like to see what would happen if i could get to the top of the room without falling off (because you can land and stay on it then traverse it upwards)... but I'm a derp.
Later tests with other sections of the ramps reveal you can do it in a few places on both the inner wall (where the elevator is) and the other wall.

Also: I found that in the prison, you can skip the animation of killing the officer (before you get the shotgun and open the door) by shooting him with the laser weapon. It is always an instakill
Yeah you can do it on either play-through both before the elevator and after (the only real use would be after, as the cutscene is when the game loads the "final" map which allows you to escape.) annoyingly its kinda a one shot thing though because the game actually activates the Fergus escape events once you go back up the stairs which electrifies the floor, you can turn the electricity off as the furgus route does for testing but I would assume should we find anything of use we would skip that and hope we get it first time.
and yes you can skip that animation with both the standard cutter and the shooting cutter.
something for people to think about where this might be useful ... (This is done on the escape part of the mission after rescuing Wyatt sadly it seems that wall cannot be got over .... so close to a sequence break)
It can also be done using attack drones (The flying ones) as you get a boost off of them when they die and explode.
Note: Dogs cannot "grab" you if you are on any surface which is higher than what they are standing on, for example a crate, pipes, tables etc etc it will only lunge at you and not do a full "grab" Dogs also cannot "grab" you if you are too close to walls as I was trying to be grabbed by one hoping the animation would force me through the wall .... no animation = no push
#Edit : You can get onto the gate once on the roof however you can't do anything from there, only option is the aircon vents to try jump over but im not sure they can be got on to.
Going to update this one more time. Down to 1:51:13. Very small improvement but very, very sloppy with deaths in the weirdest spots. I almost got a sub 10:00 Dog split like you PC guys in this run but what I have figured out is I am very good the first 20 minutes and terrible the rest of the run. I need to get much more consistent deeper in the run if I want to catch Forgiven.
I thought I had Forgiven in this run. Was ahead about 20-40 seconds early on but I died early on in Nautica that lost most of that time and was 5 seconds ahead after the Welder but the biggest difference that stopped me from having a shot was the monitor fight. He had the one cycle and I ended up with a 3 cycle but at least I feel like I have a shot at topping his run now if I get better at the monitor fight.
Also, this is the first run where Fergusbot has trolled me with jumps so that wasted about 10-15 seconds.
Had three huge mistakes, really surprised I recovered from them.
1 - Caught during the stealth part at my Two Robots, 1 Blazko split and had to reload 2 - Died on the Bridge(Death did as well) 3 - Died on back to Nautica while picking the door before the skip(Stupid death because I missed like every health pack)
