So far, I've only ever seen runs of Golf in the Wii Sports series. They're fairly short runs and only one part of the series. I'd like more parts of the Wii Sports series to get attention in speedrunning- they're popular, easy-to-find games that are pretty egalitarian as far as region differences go. It's not like you'll have to own the South Korea version to remain competitive. Playing on a Wii U does reduce lag compared to playing on a Wii, though.

The run would be this- start when you first enter the ring, and end when you press Quit after defeating Matt. There would be no routing- it's just the pure skill of knocking out opponents as fast as possible. You can either use a Guest Mii (which doesn't save) or keep copying a bunch of look-alikes in the Mii channel if you have a preference towards a Mii you've created. The Mii used in the run could even be part of a donation incentive in a marathon- donators could request designs and colors, then have a bid war.

Like Sayonara Umihara Kawase Chirari, I have a more detailed description at KawaseFan.net, in the "Other Games" section.

Finally did a run. Got the sub 90. If you're going to do this, do it with a Guest Mii. Or maybe have a custom Mii as a donation incentive in a GDQ or something.
New PB! Under an hour! Used the original Wii this time- the lag actually helps in a speedrun. Imagine that!
Got another PB! Sub 45! Not nearly as much of a percentage improvement as last time. The Japanese version doesn't seem to have any differences.

DarthNiko games has beaten my Zero To Champion with a 39:01!
