So anyone who's played the Myst series knows that, for the most part, it involves a bunch of clicking to get from place to place (because of screen transitions). However, there are two exceptions to this, Uru, and Myst V, which allow you to move freely. This makes them much more interesting runs. As such, I'm thinking of speedrunning Uru. It's already such a beautiful game and I'm curious to see what a speedrun of it would look like. I know close to nothing about how to speedrun it, but there have definitely been some glitches demonstrated (like falling through the level some places like Gahreesen) and probably more to be found. I'm guessing the speedrun (I guess defined as ) will involve finding the shortest route on how to use the linking books, how often you link back to Relto, and so on. Has anyone else given any thought to this?
