There's another CRPG out! Let's see if running it isn't a maddening endeavour.

I haven't been able to find any beneficial glitches. It's impossible to attack friendly NPCs, map areas are only unlocked once you receive quests to go there, there are a whole bunch of quests required to advance the story no matter which side you pick. The main glitches in Pillars of Eternity seem fixed, there's no way to commit suicide anyway, I can't manage to obtain conversation storage, and body bumping hasn't worked either.

There is this.

But I have no idea how it works and the guy isn't responding.

As far as routing goes: It seems to me that doing the Chorus plotline is the fastest, as it passes by three of the four spires along the way and doesn't have too much combat. Disfavored and Rebel have several quests that require clearing an entire area, while the Solo path has a bunch of detours. Being able to sentence Graven Ashe to death is pretty nice, too.

Most combatants won't chase you across the map, but some will. Stealthing past enemies is very effective, and especially Invisibility potions, will at times allow you to escape otherwise mandatory combat. Because of how good stealth is, it's probably best to deny all followers and run solo (on the easiest difficulty).

Melee seems by far the best damage. I'm not sure whether 2handed or dualwielding would be best; 2handed enemies certainly ripped through me, but dualwield has another advantage. It seems like the higher your attack speed, the higher your skill gain in combat is, which increases your experience gain. So whichever is best, maxing Quickness and taking the attack speed stance early seems like a good idea. Finally, picking the Disfavored option for Quick Start seems mandatory, that heal is a massive lifesaver at all points in the run.

Oh, cool, just as I post this I get an explanation for the Sirin glitch.

Simply add and remove Sirin from the party 4 times and she'll start doing immense amounts of damage to everything with instant stanzas thanks to the speed increasing aura. Though it's looking very likely to glitch out sequences and softlock the game, so, it's risky.
Hi, Onin! Compared to Pillars of Eternity, how good is this game (casually speaking)? I enjoyed PoE, but I'm not sure whether I want to play the same kind of game again any time soon, unless it is really good.
