I think if you can give a clear explanation of exactly where and how to do a trick/glitch/sequence break and be the first one to do it then that person should be given recognition of a discovery. But then this is just my opinion
Whoever can't make videos also can't make discoveries? There is a flaw in this logic.
They get someone else to make a video for them. Then they get credit for finding the glitch. It is different than someone saying "hey I found a glitch: you do this, this, and this. sorry i cant make a video". If they would get someone to make a video for them then they would get the credit. But say, if someone says "hey, i found a glitch: here's a video". Yet it's the same glitch that got found by "the person without a capturing device who doesn't have video proof of it" and the person who made the video of the glitch didn't know that the person without a capturing device found it, the person who made the video would get credit.
I'm sorry if you don't get this, but credit towards glitches is a very confusing subject. That's why I don't care about credit if I find a glitch and I hate it when people go "omgz i found a new glitch WOOT" even though the glitch is about 2 years old.
Fiece, my guess is getting epona near a void through wall and then... maybe constantly damaging her so that she keeps moving and they don't check to make her fall? (Im sure that is wrong)
I realize that this is probably a little early, but what would 100% be for this game? I'd presume it'd be all heart pieces and all weapons/upgrades at the very least, and probably also the Poes and the cave of ordeals. Anything else?
Yeah I was wondering about that LBT, if you could get to the boss without doing both waters. Hadn't checked for myself, but good to see it works.
Actually, I'd really like to see people going back and 100%ing all the Zelda games: Link's Awakening is likely doable in under 3 hours, the Oracles aren't too bad, etc.
Alas, I'm nowhere near good enough to being able to do it.
100% would probably also include the golden bugs...which is probably subsumed under upgrades.
I'd doubt if any such run could be posted though. That's a crazy amount of time, especially when any% takes so long.
And as far as credit goes, I don't really care about it. If the maneuver is used in the run, I'll consider it my own, even though somebody else might have discovered it first.
(Actually, I do sort of care about the chandelier to boss door bit. But not enough to fight over it.)
It will be doable, but how can you think of it before we've even broken it enough for a really fast any%? I bet it will eventually be under 7 hours, but it will just take time.
Regardless of what type of run it is you don't know how to make epona float. In other words there is alot to be done before a real run can be made. Feel free to post segments from your practice runs.

I suggest using the OoT domain that was registered and volunteered and just putting up OoT, MM, and TP tricks all at once. We have a massive knowledge base of tricking on all three games after all.
