I think if you can give a clear explanation of exactly where and how to do a trick/glitch/sequence break and be the first one to do it then that person should be given recognition of a discovery. But then this is just my opinion

Whoever can't make videos also can't make discoveries?  There is a flaw in this logic.

They get someone else to make a video for them.  Then they get credit for finding the glitch.  It is different than someone saying "hey I found a glitch: you do this, this, and this. sorry i cant make a video".  If they would get someone to make a video for them then they would get the credit.  But say, if someone says "hey, i found a glitch: here's a video".  Yet it's the same glitch that got found by "the person without a capturing device who doesn't have video proof of it" and the person who made the video of the glitch didn't know that the person without a capturing device found it, the person who made the video would get credit.

I'm sorry if you don't get this, but credit towards glitches is a very confusing subject.  That's why I don't care about credit if I find a glitch and I hate it when people go "omgz i found a new glitch WOOT" even though the glitch is about 2 years old.

First one to make a video of how I did this has discovered it.

Yes I made a video for it but I thought I'd join in the fun
I'm not THAT bad.
Tongue Ok.

I just did Fierce's Staircase glitch and walked forward a bit and jumped off.

Oh and I was just kidding about him stealing my "Glitch" Anyway I'll try and get a video of it  :-/

EDIT: It seems Manocheese was the first to find it, but he didn't even mention it until I posted it on page 11.

Meh, I thought it didn't have any use. Now it does.
Zelda Scientist®
Fiece, my guess is getting epona near a void through wall and then... maybe constantly damaging her so that she keeps moving and they don't check to make her fall? (Im sure that is wrong)
Everybody loves Hypnotoad!
I realize that this is probably a little early, but what would 100% be for this game?  I'd presume it'd be all heart pieces and all weapons/upgrades at the very least, and probably also the Poes and the cave of ordeals.  Anything else?
Nintendo player, Mac lover for life
Yeah I was wondering about that LBT, if you could get to the boss without doing both waters. Hadn't checked for myself, but good to see it works.

Actually, I'd really like to see people going back and 100%ing all the Zelda games: Link's Awakening is likely doable in under 3 hours, the Oracles aren't too bad, etc.

Alas, I'm nowhere near good enough to being able  to do it.
Spitoon.
100% would probably also include the golden bugs...which is probably subsumed under upgrades.

I'd doubt if any such run could be posted though.  That's a crazy amount of time, especially when any% takes so long.

And as far as credit goes, I don't really care about it.  If the maneuver is used in the run, I'll consider it my own, even though somebody else might have discovered it first.  Grin

(Actually, I do sort of care about the chandelier to boss door bit.  But not enough to fight over it.)
100% doesn't have 100 gs tokens...

It will be doable, but how can you think of it before we've even broken it enough for a really fast any%?  I bet it will eventually be under 7 hours, but it will just take time.
I'm not THAT bad.
Ok so abandon the route due to lack of interest.

If anyone cares, I'll be starting my TP Wii segmented any% run soon  Cheesy

Neat.  Just make sure the quality is good.  And make sure you get sub-7.

I'll have fun beating it in a few months when tricks are found.

VHS, composite, SP?

Now what are all the tricks we (I, whatever..) will be using?

The iron boots one, the lakebed one, and those ToT timesavers?

And Fluffy, don't worry, I will  Grin
Existence as you know it is over
I suggest you play the game longer and look for more shortcuts, and master them, before you attempt a run.

Regardless of what type of run it is you don't know how to make epona float.
In other words there is alot to be done before a real run can be made. Feel free to post segments from your practice runs.

Acute Angles > Nintendo

We really need to make a Twilight Princess glitch site before someone else does and steals all of our findings.

Any ideas of names?

www.twilightsecrets.com
www.twilightrealm.com
www.thetwilightzone.com  Huh?

www.tpscientists.com maybe?

In case you didn't know, "the twilight zone" is an old TV show so that could throw people off.
I love YaBB 1G - SP1!
Hello everyone...

FLM, could you upload those videos on YouTube? For some reason, I can play all the other divx videos here except those two.

Use vlc... it will play everything.

Or dl ffdshow if you already like the player you have.

Have you guys agreed on a fastest form of movement yet? Optimal rolling technique (like pause-rolling in oot or just mashing roll?) or somethin else?
I love YaBB 1G - SP1!
And... they're still not playing. What are the odds?

Seriously... uploading to any other site would be faster than trying to figure out what's wrong with my computer (many mnay things).
I suggest using the OoT domain that was registered and volunteered and just putting up OoT, MM, and TP tricks all at once.  We have a massive knowledge base of tricking on all three games after all.
