In addition, this must be run at a marathon someday
EDIT: Also, I think I'ma sign up for this thing. Backloggery Linkage I can record for any of those systems save for Nintendo DS. Literally, I can take whatever crap you can imagine
For trade, I have one of 2 NES games: one action/adventure, the other more just action I think? Not sure what to classify it as. I removed both of them from my backloggery just so no one will try and guess what they are.
There are a lot of people who are ready to exchange but aren't yet paired up. Please feel free to contact each other if you are on the "ready but not yet traded" list! I am not going to play matchmaker here. Also, I may be signing up for another game, but I'm not sure when. It depends on how my AGDQ practice goes. I have a few potential candidates prepared, and they are not pretty.
Lastly, we decided during a stream of mine a few days ago that Metal Morph for the SNES is banned from the game exchange. It is far too powerful.
I have a SNES game that I can send out after the 25th of September. This is a gem. In return, I could take NES, SNES, PSX, or most PC games. I really wanna play something that surprises me with how horrible it is.
I don't have any crappy games. I'll create a backloggery, uh... Tonight. So yeah.
Does anybody have an idea for a current gen game (or, in the alternative, a last gen game) that might work for this exchange program? I'm not saying you have to have it in your possession or volunteer to trade it with me or anything. I just kind of want to know if anyone even has an idea for a current or last gen game that could work, for people like me out there whose older systems are in storage.
Yeah, that's kinda why I asked. Keep in mind, though, that it would be really easy to "send me" either an Xbox Arcade, Virtual Console, or PSN game (probably by sending me cash/money order to download a game of your choice), and a bajillion of those are shorter. Does anyone have any ideas for these, maybe?
PSN has game sharing. So if you wanted to give .detuned to someone, you would just let them log in as you, activate their ps3 under your account (can have 5 at once) and then they can dl everything you've bought out of the PSN store for free.
ZR: Yeah, that's what I was thinking too. Because of that, it would have to be an arcade game that was released in the last few years, because all of the retro titles on those platforms would probably only be offered for download if they were quality games.
I'm just getting into speed running, but being given a game to run, even a bad one, instead of trying to figure one out for myself seems like a really fun challenge. The fact that I'm new to this has me a little worried, but I still think it would be entertaining. I love playing obscure and random games. Now it may take a long time since I would still want to work on my projects own projects and such, so that brings me to my second concern. Is there any type of timeline? I mean, it's pretty much take as long as you need right?
EDIT: Oh what the hell, what's the worst that can happen? I'm in.
I've got a SNES action/platformer game up for trade, and I can currently run games on NES, SNES, GC, PSX, PS2, PS3, PC (old or new, I'm equipped with a new fangled system and a windows 98 era computer).
The only thing I can think of saying no to is no racing games, and preferably no strategy games, I'm not sure I'd have the patience to run them. And I prefer platformers and action/adventure games.
Edit Edit: oh, and my backloggery is not complete, and I do own a lot of games, but mostly all of my console games are listed. http://backloggery.com/ikomasoji
Edit: I also have 3 other action/platformer SNES games I wouldn't mind putting up for this either, but I'm not sure I would want to do any more then one at a time. O.o play it by ear I guess. Oh, I'm excited now. Two of the games I have in mind comes up with absolutely no mentions on this forum, and 2 of them are only mentioned once I saw. I was worried that people here wouldn't think they were obscure enough, I guess not.
