Hello SDA Community, my name is KitsuneKyon on Twitch.tv and I'm the owner of the charity marathon gaming group, which is one of many Partners with Twitch.tv: The League of Extraordinary Gamers AKA: http://www.twitch.tv/gaming_4_A_Cure
The channel's main purpose is to raise money and awareness for the various charities that we game for. And with our approach, unlike other charity groups that you might've seen such as TheSpeedGamers, I personally love to utilize the entire TTV community in our efforts. With this method, it allows for all types of casters to participate in helping to make a difference in the world we live in today; from Esports, to SpeedRunners and even some of the more diverse and newer casters.
That being said, my unique method also allows for smaller casters to be exposed to the large audiences we annually draw. Not only does it help them build confidence as a caster, but as well as earn them a larger following. Our group not only helps TTV and gaming in general present a very positive image, but helps to strengthen and cultivate the community as well; Uniting it underneath a single banner of helping to better mankind and the world around us.
In short, in addition to raising money and awareness for charity, our group provides an amazing opportunity in helping to build future casters for Twitch with the potential to be partnered. With what we do, I believe our hobby and love of gaming is a powerful tool that can help influence the lives of millions around the world to be bettered showing others that gaming isn't just a "waste of time" or just being a source of entertainment.
To date, the group has risen over 49K for charity since our inception of
just almost two years ago. As well as the following that have sponsored/partnered with us: Fangamer, Equestria Daily, Main Event Network, Walz Music, Ariablarg.tv, Magical TimeBean, WinWolfz Etsy Shop, Furthia High, IndieRoyale, Bronies for Good, Tout and SplitMediaLabs.
With that being said, I'm always looking for casters (as well as partnerships/sponsorships) to participate in our upcoming charity marathon for St. Jude's Children Research Hospital (as well as future marathons).
