Jim Sterling again. On DX: Mankind Divided.

I still consider it my duty to open eyes over here, even if most of my (and Jim's) audience is the proverbial choir.

How about buying something else? Have you got the pride? The integrity?

EDIT I have no words anymore.
Thread title:
Intruding N313 and F014
It's just the same for #FucKonami and even Nintendo, who are complete assholes nowadays.  The AAA developers have been behaving so poorly in general that none of them deserve any attention (I think Sega is acting the best, but they have been rather incompetent lately).  At least there is is Steam (and I guess itch.io) with its Indy Developers making generally better stuff, provided that you ignore all the crap from trolls, which is another thing that Jim Sterling has complained about.  I haven't cared about the latest recent releases for a very long time, and very likely will not care.
m e m e s ?
There's a disturbing tendency among large developers to fail to understand their audiences, and to make misinformed decisions, whether well-intentioned or otherwise, which wind up hurting them just as much as their consumers. Take, for example, Paper Mario: Color Splash, presumably believed by Nintendo to be a viable successor to the somewhat profitable Sticker Star, but which was met with nothing but burning anger and the rare ability to make people use YouTube's downvote button, because the decision was based on Sticker Star's decent sales numbers, rather than its extremely negative fan reception.

Everyday is puppies and sunshine...
Fans: "We want an FFVII remake!"

Square: "HEY!  You know what... good idea.  Let's release it in episodes!  With long dev times inbetween!  That's what you guys wanted, right?"

Fans: "... dude..."

I feel we need everyone to learn, or relearn, the ways of the wily ones. Yes, it's another episode of Jimquisition, this time about apologetic claims about the perpetually dying AAA publishers who are just barely scraping by, let's not forget.
Let's try to circumvent laws because not hoovering all the money in Belgium.
Well, here's on a more positive note. If you insist on being an anything-fanboy, among AAA publishers, you can do much worse than Nintendo. The video also brings up an important point: the greedy investors being instrumental in the vicious circle.
