If you're going to get the videos, make sure you get CC3 and MM2 first.

CC3 was my discovery, and I tried to do something similar on MM2 - when it didn't work, Sprint found a different way of doing what I intended to do and thrashed all comers.

If there was one game I would want the skip the cutscenes rule to be ignored it, be this one.  True, it only really applies to the start up scene that you wait on the main menu for, but that was the best cutscene ever created.  Oh well.  I am right in thinking the ending does not have to be skipped right?

Anyway just wondering for your version of the game, what Music tracks are used? Japanese or American?

Good luck and, god speed with the run too.
just get sonic mega collection. there's a way, way, way, way better version of it on there, with the japanese music, too.
Mega Collection didn't include sonic CD last time i checked...
That would be Sonic Gems Collection you are thinking about Nate

but I'm not so sure if even buying that would be the greatest idea. I'm pretty sure there are version differences that should be taken into account when time attacking (or so I recall sprint talking about inthe chat one day, he said something along the lines of not time attacking sonic cd on gems because it sucks)
I think Nate is talking to me about the cutscenes.  There is of course the start up and ending videos for SonicCD in the extras of Mega Collection.
My version has Sonic boom as a music backgroud during the movie though. Is that not the American version, whilst that "Toot toot" song is the Japaneese version?
ah, wait, i remember now - i replaced the music with the japanese version after i captured it. unfortunately, that work was lost in the first major hard drive crash i had (the summer 2003 one).
I hate Wacky Workbench!!!

The Great Farming Empire
So i've been playing the CD remake for the past few months and i'm fairly close to getting near my goal for Tails. My current PB in in-game time is 11:58.95 and I plan on getting a low/sub-11:50 before I submit.

I tried using yua in order to get rid of the interlacing from my raw video, So the video may look weird. In case you're wondering, I used D1 F1 2D for the encoding, but i'm probably submit the raw and have someone else encode since I don't think this would qualify. The video is at 60 fps, but since it's under 720p Youtube didn't pick it up.
The Great Farming Empire

Welp...it happened. I finally subbed the 11:50. There is still some time that can be saved, but this run is too strong to try and compete against anytime soon.

I'm probably going to wait until I finish up my run notes before I submit. For now, I just want to take a bit of a break because WOW that run was strong.
