afaik it's been only fixes for performance issues and crashes so far.
Some people have reported that the physics (especially for prop flying) have change somehow but I can't confirm since I'm bad at that anyways Tongue
do you guys think this will be sub 1 hour?
The Dork Knight himself.
At this rate I'm guessing it will be about 25-30 minutes tops with most of the time coming from the underwater walking sections.

I think some insane skips would need to be found to have 30 minute tops. I had a run today where I first tried every strat we have so far up to omicron, even prop flight for underwater parts, and I was sitting around 40 minutes
Here's a much more direct upsilon_outside prop-flight path. Some possible improvements I can imagine are going up and forward on the prop at the same time (if it's possible) at the beginning instead of straight up then straight forward, and a near-perfect chair-clip instead of pulling the wires at the end.

I didn't see it mentioned here at all, but when you're grabbing the ARK from the doctor, you don't need to use the lift. Just grab it and jump down both of the ladders. (At least that how I did it my first playthrough because I didn't know there was a lift.)

if you do the fly, then the door wont be open and so you cant just jump down. you have to clip through, which cant be done holding the ark
New strat for Phi that is much more consistent: http://www.twitch.tv/cromish/v/17987425
Here's tau_outside with some improvements over the normal route. Mainly, you can skip the spider tunnels with a prop quite easily (but I'm not sure how much faster this is exactly), and there's no need to activate the light robot. Probably no need to turn on the lights at the beginning either but they're helpful.

01_01_upsilon_awake - using Cromish OOB but with no propfly. Requires only one easy clip as opposed to breaking the window, clipping the fence and the gate.
It's really consistent especially if you compare it to the inconsistency of getting a prop out of bounds to propfly to the end trigger.

I didnt find that oob but yeah ive been using this strat. Its too hard to get the last prop fly to be fast so i find this to be the best option
03_02_omicron_inside Cleanroom puzzle skip. Theres a small open gap from which you can grab the gel from. Knocking the chair over makes pretty much the perfect height to grab it:

the computer in the room of the ark lets you unlock the door without having to clip, it takes 2 clicks to unlock the door, much faster than trying a clip even if you get it first try

I was not aware you could open it from in there. thanks for letting me know, now I dont have to do that stupid clip

Am having a huge problem.

I am taking only the damage from the parts you have to take or cutscenes (the prop flight drop in the comm dome and the shuttle crash). so by the time I get to theta for the big drop to skip I am moving extremely slow and sometimes cant even clear the gap to jump, and even worse when I land from the jump im moving so incredibly slow that the run seems pointless from here on out as I wont be able to make any jumps or take anymore damage without dying and it takes me a year to walk down a hallway. Are there any heal points that are optimal or is there something im doing wrong?

1st damage comm room
2nd damage shuttle crash
3rd damage theta prop flight drop to load zone
4th damage drop to theta maintenance skip

You should be healed by the cutscene that occurs after the big drop in Theta, so the damage you take up until that point shouldn't matter.  Also, you don't need to take damage after prop flights; if you scroll the mouse wheel out, it should allow you to lower yourself slowly (which obviously isn't as fast as falling but way more safe).  If you're too high at the end of a flight and are scared of taking a bunch of damage, that's what I'd suggest.

a tau outside prop, might not be the best way but it does skip crab cave.

also I have a bad mic ill type some of this out, when setting this up near the arch there seems to be a 50/50 chance of the angler swarm approaching you, if you can prop quick its easy to get away from but you do take some damage.

Be careful when dropping to the final blue lights as well make sure you wont fall anywhere outside the rocks near the end zone or you WILL be telelported back to the beginning by ross (thanks ross).

also plz update if you find a better item to prop with I hate those spools

Is there any specific reason why you guys get the tool chip from the big robot when calling the zeppelin instead of from the smaller robot?

moves slower when stunning and has like 2 lines less of dialogue when talking to catherine
The Dork Knight himself.
Oh ok, didn't realize it had less lines of dialogue. I remember Cath saying how cute she thought the smaller robot is and Simon didn't go through his lines of the robot being sentient.
I was watching Cromish and LivingLooneyBin racing and LivingLooneyBin actually went for the 3 parts without activating the suit for the first time.
So once you get to the suit room you plug in the omnitool, open the console and interact with the suit. After that you can actually run out of the room and collect the 3 parts.
When you return with the 3 parts, the console should start loading where you left off - this is perfect because there's a delay anyway after which you can insert the remaining 2 parts. After that you activate the suit from the console for the first time after Catherines line of trying to boot the suit again.
This saves a pretty considerable amount of time.

Also this seems to be common knowledge, but I just learned that crouching during any propfly will allow you to safely descend. I think this is key for not taking damage from all the surface propflights - all damage taken does slow you down.
And it's worth noting that full health sprinting is ~5.25 units of speed - sprinting while bunnyhopping can get your speed up to 5.8 units on a flat surface. Landing and jumping off slopes can boost your speed.

The Dork Knight himself.
So I checked out a few LP videos of taking out the robots at Delta, and the dialogue for both robots is the same length. Looks like it's down to whichever one you can kill quicker (K8 lands closer to the landing platform and is always really close at the start).
