Stalker!
I seriously thinking about rerunning the main quest. Because the run now got a horrible video settings.

The Goal is
- false ending
- novice difficulty
- maybe sub 20min (possible only with REALLY much luck :))

the things i will made different:
- taking more medikits
- useing the direct way to get to the reactor
- maybe taking the greandlauncher for the part under the reactor

so does anyone want to see it?
Thread title:
Sure. Go for sub 20 minutes.
Speed is everything!
I'd be interested. Wink
I have no solution, but i admire the problem.
Sure. Of course, it would be best if you could publish it at SDA.

Just a question: In Crodon, do you really need to talk to the soldier before you take the armor ? You don't even start the quest anyway.

Actually this game a shame after 6 years of development Tongue :P.
TIOLET!
I havn't played this game myself, but since it took them like 5-6 years to make the game and you can still complete it in under 20 minutes... wow.

Your CPP section is waaaay better than before; and that section is single-segmented, which makes it even better.

I'm sure you've tried this a million times, but I'll say it anyways.  After killing the first Gauss rifle guy, then that other hallway, try throwing a grenade if you have one into that room with the chain fence.  The splash will get anyone on either side if you land it in the middle-ish of the room.  After that, try sprinting through the fence to the wall for cover (if everyone in that room dies) then try sprinting through that bigger room (just like you do in that part after the stairs afterwards, shooting minimally, if at all) using the various boxes for as much cover as possible.  I know the guys aren't always in the same places, but it seems like they tend to be to the left of that wall-hole (in the room with the fence).  That said, the quicker and dodge-ier you run, and the further you get, I think it could save a ton of time and cost a medpack or so.  I know you get a lot of supplies from the bodies in that last part, but I think you might be able to do with what you have.  Plus, taking everything from all the bodies makes you waste more time having to drop it for speed and sufficient jump-height at the very end.  You could maybe even do the direct-run-to-the-CPP strafing a little when there's those cluster of soldiers.  The more you move, the less they'd likely hit you saving enough medpacks for sprinting more in the CPP.

Just my thoughts.  Still damn impressive though in it's current form.
rawr
Alright, I tried playing the game again (it's been about a month or so) and I've realize now that strafing will kill your sprint for some reason, so scratch that little part.  Though, I do remember when playing that running right along side the building, rather than down that middle, out-in-the-open path saves a lot of bullets flying past your head.  The only tricky part is right before you enter the Reactor, but a medkit or two can handle that.  Doing that should save you some supplies for later, I'd think.

Do you mean the area outside the Power Plant or inside the Powerplant?

and about the area in side the powerplant the Problem there is that the Stalker there have a much better aim then in the rest of the game and in the one big room there are too many Stalker to through it.
rawr
I was referring to the point of entering the CPP to the time you make a wish.  Your old run was segmented inside there, but this one isn't; it looks a hell of a lot better.
It still is far away from perfect, imho. I was thinking about doing a run on my own, hopefully with some new shortcut using grenade jump or sth and probably Expert difficulty. I'm not decided yet, though.

With far away from perfect you mean only run through but like i said this isnt possible and on expert this its getting more frustrating then on Novice.

Zero1@osiris: english would be better but you got right in some points
Speed is everything!
He means that ewil is always talking a run isn't perfect and he could do it better...
