Yeah I've seen those glitches and was working on a run for a bit, but I realized it would take me too long to check walls to glitch through for potential skips. Having to restart from a checkpoint every time makes it a pain to route. Also you can't jump freely since it's kind of automatic so some hard jumps can really screw you over. Anyway, a couple of things I remember from my run of the first part:

2:14 - You can jump right to the banner.
3:34 - You can jump directly down.

Good luck! NG or NG+ btw?
Yeah the assistance on some jumps is pretty absurd for a platforming game. Thanks for the shortcut tips, I haven't managed to jump to that banner - like I said this won't be super optimized as I mainly just want to show the shortcuts. I haven't actually found anywhere else where you can clip walls using that method though except for the one Findlestick shows where you skip some trigger and can't continue.

I've never managed to jump directly down at 3:34, though I've managed to land further down on the banner.

This will be NG easy, as I find it more interesting to route. It won't make a big difference though.
Yeah I remember there's some kind of exp glitch where you keep suiciding and can max your abilities in no time (guess the glitch is on YT somewhere), so it wouldn't be much different from NG+ if using that method.

You mean clipping through using the jump to pillar method that you did in your video or clipping through with the magic? The clip you did was cool, never seen it before. I have managed to clip out of bounds by repeatedly wall jumping in certain places though but it hasn't led to anything useful.
I mean using the 'dive animation' clip I did - I haven't actually tested it in many places. This one I only just found while recording the run! Smiley

Whirlwind clipping will feature many places in the run though. I'll get it by killing one group of enemies and then breaking the first sarcophagus. I'll have to look into the xp exploit to see if it's worth doing. Getting Ice 4 fast would speed up some things but it's not going to make a big difference really (IIRC I get it before the second Ratash/Malik fight).

Part 2 of my run is up, total runtime up to getting the Power of Flow is 22:57, compared to 27:37 in Kzambro's run on page 1. In part 2 things start getting pretty interesting, with a lot of shortcuts and skips allowed by using the rewind glitch and clipping with whirlwind. Very happy with this part, the only thing is that I wish my framerate was better. Oh well.
I've been working on this game for the past couple months on and off, great to see someone else working on it.
I didn't know about air clipping until I saw your videos recently. It's a very nice trick, although I have quite a bit of trouble getting through larger doors, like the very first time you use it in your part 2 video.

At 7:00 of your part 2 video, you can avoid using the wall-run glitch by rolling through the vases to the right, wall running up the wall behind them, and jumping off of it. When you jump the prince will awkwardly spin and begin sliding down the carpet on the wall. Just jump off of that asap and you'll end up on the swinging pole.

I'll post a compilation video in the next day or two showing all the shortcuts I've found.

0:00 By pressing down and wallrun at the same time you can cause this glitchy two-directional wallrun that saves time on occasion.
0:16 A slightly faster and less energy intensive way of skipping this room.
0:25 I know you made this trick obsolete with your video, but I still think it's a neat glitch. Jumping off the top of a pole makes the prince grab onto the air. Could possibly be useful somewhere else, but this is the only place I've found a use for it.
0:47 I just found this today. This skips the entire cage climbing section. You clip out of bounds, fall down to the platform, then get back in bounds by jumping repeatedly.
1:47 This may have been posted in this thread before, couldn't remember for sure.
1:56 This can probably be done during the first stage of the fight, I just didn't think to check until I was in the second stage.

Also, at 8:05 of your part 2 video, you can clip through the fence to the right, and wallrun over to the curtain. It's really tricky though, I only managed to get it to work twice. You can also hop down to get the sarcophagus, then use the wallrun glitch to reach the button that opens the door, jump to the swinging pole, and then role under the door. It takes about 10 seconds longer than clipping through the door, but it gets you another sarcophagus, and uses less energy.

Lastly, I noticed that at the end of the first chase sequence, it looks as if you pass back around the area I was in at 1:47 of my video. If you could use clipping to skip the first chase sequence, it could save quite a bit of time.
