I asked another person who did runs of the game for their copy. I'm not sure about the legalities of it, but I can only assume if you already own a copy of Morrowind for PC you shouldn't be doing anything illegal.
If someone with Morrowind 1.0 just uploads the files that have been replaced by patches, it would be ridiculous to go against him, because these files have been legally uploaded already anyway (in the form of patches). Though it's still technically illegal, I think.
I've looked on all torrent sites. All they seem to have is GOTY or V 1.2, Well If anyone has the disk and decides to upload it that would be fantastic considering that I own a newer version of the game .
Hmm gonna hijack this thread since I don't think this deserves its own thread and I got the 1.0 through the above post...
I tried the "super-jump"-part of the run at least 10 times today and never quite made it. I always clash into the mountainside right before the dungeon I am supposed to land at (Forgot the name). I have adrenaline rush on, made the character as supposed to, have a full fatigue-bar and aligned myself in the right way (at least I think so, copied videos of runs I watched). I really have no idea what might be the problem.
Also another few things: I only own a German version. I installed this one, then downgraded it with the above patch. It works in general, though in like half the attempts I cannot switch spells by "next/previous spell", the game just states by subtitle that "You can not delete this item from the magic menu". Whenever this happens, I have to cast all spells from the menu and cannot use Adrenaline Rush at all. Also often the submenu that pops up when buying stuff and there is more than one item of the same kind is in stock, well... doesn't pop up, and I cannot change the number of spells I want to buy. Then I am screwed, of course, since I did not steal enough stuff to pay for the extra spell. Are those common issues or might this be connected to the German version as basis before downgrading? Also, since audio still is in German... Is this slower than the English version (the beginning, when the player has to wait for the people to finish talking)?
So... Yeah, quite a few questions, though the first one to me is the most important.
I haven't tested the patch thoroughly, but I'd guess you need the English GOTY version. Basically I just checked which files changed, then tested the patch by loading a save near Keening and seeing if the glitch worked. I'll have to test it some more to be sure it isn't the issue.
Yeah holding W, since I saw it being held in the WR run on YouTube (Guess it's your run, good job! ). Doesn't really matter, might crash into the mountainside a little farther in, but never make it to the top where I am supposed to land
Did this and almost made it this time. This might just be in the realm of me messing up now. Gonna try it a little more and then either be happy or give up.
Big thanks anways for now, seems to have helped!
Want more feedback on how it is going?
Also, if somebody has input on the other questions, would be nice.

I was pulling my hair out for ages trying to figure this out, but I've finally cracked how to land outside Odrosal every time. Firstly, some factors to keep constant. Make sure you have full fatigue, adrenaline rush to last the duration of the jump, and hold W for the duration of the jump (I know these have been mentioned already, but it's important). Additionally, make sure you're using a redguard barbarian. Now, when you use almsivi intervention to return to the temple after jumping, move into the little crevice to the right of the arch that goes back towards Balmora (sorry this is hard to describe, the next picture should illustrate what I mean) , face as shown in this picture http://i.imgur.com/14Eh4tw.png, run a few steps forwards, and jump. Now, you have to pay attention to your minimap; as you jump over ghostgate, use your scroll of flight (it is important to use it here and not just before you land as it seems to keep you in the air for longer). You should land just on Odrosal. Good luck <3
I was doing everything as explained and almost gave up while reading when I read "use your scroll of flight" and I was like "scroll of flight!?!?". Well I tried picking up the game today... So... I think I missed a point on my checklist. Where do I get the scroll? Now I know when to use it, at least -.-
If you mean using it to jump off a n d land, then yeah, I used it. But maybe too late, as you explained.
Edit: Tried it again, this time casting the second scroll earlier. I specifically looked up other runs beforehand. Didn't seem to make much of a difference. I still crashed too early. Well, for today I am through with trying. But thx for your answers
I totally forgot about the second scroll timing, my bad. Also, check this out: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/422005/straight_to_door.mp4 Use this timing to get the longest distance possible. (you can only go straight to the door when you have really high FPS though, so it isn't useful in runs because 60fps is better in general)
