Is "medium" the default difficulty? If it's not, we tend to mention such difficulty settings in the categories.

Very good you left in the screens before and after the mission: anyone who knows the game at least will get good info from those.

"Bone Machine: Current world record. This mission is weird. I had to jet straight forward instead of directly toward the hellbringer. The reason for this is because the nova and stormcrow wave power up immediately if I just move straight ahead out of the firebase, but they power up later if I leave at an angle toward the enemy mech."

^ It's not just a matter of having a trigger box of such a shape then? Other than that, I dunno about this game but in some games the enemy AI is dormant/partially dormant until the player moves close enough.

Bouk Obelisk: I'll mention this to IsraeliRD about how to time this mission and the others like it.

Iron Piston: Nice kill through the flames.

Umbar Wall: Can confirm - it's that old lemmings effect.

Ages ago I started this thread about missions or runs that have an interesting way to beat them where it's not about the actual time but rather at what point were you able to drop the controller. I was reminded of it with that escort mission.

A/V: The wireframe mode is still a little garbled as with the last one. I take it this was the best you could do? Funny how it affects the red lines much more than other colors.

Cheating: Not detected.

The gameplay looks as clean or actually cleaner than the last submission (no surprises given it's ILs this time). Good evidence of planning and trying different ideas.

Yeah, medium is the default difficulty. I could do these on easy and go even faster, but again, speedrun.com category had the difficulty set to medium.

Also Bone Machine's case is strange because the last wave doesn't approach you right away unless you exit the firebase at that specific angle. That wave can't be approached because their initial placement is far out of bounds.

Yeah, I don't understand why only the red lines do that on wireframe, but at least it's not unwatchable like the earlier GBL runs

Also if you thought Umber Wall was a slog, just wait till you see Temper Edge in Wolf Campaign. Umber Wall is a meme and a half, but Temper Edge is worth, I'd say, about 3 memes.
Haha... looking forward to it! Timed missions weren't designed for speedrunners in mind. Every RTS has one too generally, like the last mission in Age of Mythology: Age of Titans.
Decision posted.
