Dude, waht i ment a by the speed run is not in "New york Minute" mode... Tongue

I mean the whole game run.. Grin

Cuz its the Full gameplay time and doesn't have any time backups.... Angry

I hate them tbh Tongue

Its more easy to hit the meater than just Run throught whole game realysing that you won't have 100% at the begining of the new Chapter :violin: And you have to Run hast and shoot good and at the same time with that shoot good! :shoot:
That is what "Speedrun" means tome To be honest Wink

I'll be making a segmented run someday (one segment per level) and will be shooting for sub-hour. hopefully you will read all the submission rules and learn how to encode properly (or just send the raw files in). I'd also like to do a single-segment run but my harddrive wont let me do so.

Check all my runs for the routes and shortcuts, you're still missing 3 major shortcuts, though. I'd might record them if you're serious enough about this. Also, learn how to double and triplejump properly, it takes some time to get used to.

Also, are you gonna do this on Dead on Arrival difficulty or Detective? Also happy running DoA without bullettime :P.

And sarou,we are planningto do a one whole run of the game on dead on arrival :devil:
But i think bullet time will be envolved,cuz its really hard to do proper shots with my crappy mouse sometimes :p in full speed....
And the run will may be,be done this summer or arround that period..
You ask why so much time to do the run?
I answer that i have exsams and will be off Payne for arround a month or so Shocked

But the speed run will be hopefully done this summer Roll Eyes

P.S. sarou i did watched your speedruns on the "New york minute" mode ^^ Pretty empressive runs Smiley

I would say just watch all the individual level runs and just do those in a single segment run, shouldn't be that hard.

Actualy its easyer to get lower time in"New yourk minute" Cuz 1 kill=1 second off the clock
and when you Bullet time reload the clock stops Tongue

And the whole run will be recorded in one peace,therefor its much harder (to me it is).

But its a litle different its no0t at the same time,its weapon and than jump after the click to change weapon have to go arround 0.5 seconds
But still need to work on the jumping.
And how to do tripple jumps ? Same technique?

triplejump: check my part2chapter4 in 0:26 video, there i do it twice in a row. You just have to jump on top of something and right before you land do the doublejump. you need some precise timing ofc. its easier if you jump on top of a box or something.

jam287: well as killing an enemy reduces TWO (2) seconds you must have a different route for a DoA run. Also there are 3 big shortcuts that are not in the NYM because two of them are slower in NYM but are faster in real time. One of them is missing because its hard :P.
