Live Split won't split when ingame (PROBLEM SOLVED)

Hello there!

I'm new to the forum so it's kinda new for me.

I run Gta San Andreas for like a week or so and I use Live split for my splits. But the problem I have the last couple of days is that when I press my split button, it won't split when I'm ingame but if I Alt-Tab out of the game and have my Splits on top, it works.

Does anyone know how I fix this?

I know that LiveSplit has their own technical support twitter of sorts that you can appeal to for more help. The most I can suggest is this: do you have global hotkeys enabled?

I have, but it still didn't work. I tries multiple Split programs but got the same issue.

if you use wsplit there is a global hotkey feature under settings you can enable for use. just set your desired keys to it and you can hit those splits while you're in-game Smiley

EDIT: are you playing your game in full screen? if you are then it won't work that way.

I use Global Hotkeys and I play in Windowed Mode, it still doesn't work Sad

It's kinda strange and I still don't know what the issue is.

Most of these programs also has a checkbox that says "enable global hotkeys" that you also need to check. A lot of people miss this one, so just making sure this wasn't the case this time.

You need to deactivate the "deactivate for other programs" button.

Found fix: Make sure to run Live split as Administrator.
