Legend of Kay Anniversary is a remaster of the original Legend of Kay game that was released back in 2005, it is a 3-D Action Platformer.
The post for the original game (https://goo.gl/pTsjxp) has some glitches, skips, and oob that do work in this game but I feel like a separate post is needed due to the new weapons and levels in this version.

Thread title:
Seems like a very interesting speedgame indeed !
I'm surprised I couldn't find a single segment run of the old edition since so much tricks has been found.
Roll clipping isn't working anymore though. Maybe I'll try to glitch hunt a bit myself !

Level 1 - Cat Village

At 2:18 I use Jump Attack to get on top of the roof and then jump off in order to collect at least 1 Gem, once you have jumped off doing a circle around the tree triggers the cut-scene.
*This skips back tracking back into town and the Boss Fight with Borax.

Good job ! It would be very interesting to have a trainer or any type of cheat to noclip trough levels or save/load position.
I found few new OoB, which are useless yet I guess but I feel like there is a lot more to discover !

EDIT: Did you noticed that this was this possible ? Right after you obtain the sword you can just go straight to the last fight area. Btw you can also go without sword but I guess there is no way to kill the master...

I attempted to do that several times and couldn't but it might just be me
Yes it's still possible, but it looks a bit harder than in the video indeed.
I just timed spamming roll vs normal run on a straight line and rolling seems to be 5 to 10% faster.

good to know and you said you found a new OoB?
Also after the 1st race, you can leave and re-enter the area to keep collect the bombs. The next boss dies a lot faster if you use 3-4 bombs on him.

So yeah this is the master skip.

Unfortunatelly I couldn't find a way to beat the master withtout sword even though I find a way to deal damage without it but seems not be enough.

And yeah this is a small OoB which is probably useless, I didn't explored everything arround though maybe you could take a look !

From what I can tell there is no way to load the next area.

Also didnt find much in your OoB, I was able to get myself to the part of the race before you go into the cave but couldn't go back inbounds.
Really nice try ! I tried this jump a lot and couldn't achieve it haha.
Were you able to reproduce Zombie Kay glitch ? I don't know if I'm just doing it wrong or if it has been fixed ...

I just bought the wii U edition since I had a gift card so I will help you guys look for stuff and test if the ps2 tricks and skips work. Smiley
I'll be getting the PC and Wii U versions of the game soon enough, it's cool to see that most of the tricks still work. Again, here's my link to the document with all the tricks in the original release game since it might be helpful: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1VZ6tQnQD4Y-n-P8OLjRZxzCeWrtSSVzbEsIBqkuxCS4

Thanks, will take a look at it Cheesy
Limbos Top F*cking Idiot
Im currently playing through the PC version so after that Ill start to help route/skip/oob hunt with everyone. Skipping straight to the master fight after getting the sword is waaaaay harder then it actually looks. This game looks super promising as a speed game though, let hope we find more stuff!

Does anyone have a confirmed list of tricks that work in the remastered PC version compared to the PS2? Id love to see what the differences are.
So far I have:

PS2 Tricks:
- Master fight early works (and it's not any harder, you just have to get used to the trick and it's easy)
- Zombie Kay doesn't work
- Waterslashing works (or whatever you want to call the thing where you can attack through water/swamps)
- Slope Jumping works
- NTSC roll-clipping from the PS2 game doesn't work (I haven't tried the PAL one yet)

PC cons:
- Can't skip through text and dialogue like you could in the PS2 version
- Can't turn off auto-save like you could in the PS2 version (making practice annoying)

In general, it seems that they haven't even touched the level geometry at all because all the OoB spots that I've tested in the game still work and the layout of every map I've been to so far is the same. Maybe there will be some edits later on in the game, as I'm still in early game at the moment.

One thing I'd be interested to find out is if the ancestor fight skip (which crashes 90% of the time on PS2) is possible and if it's stable enough to not crash. (ancestor fight skip: http://www.twitch.tv/muffin42/c/6920088 )

Im not far enough in the game yet but I think the "ancestor fight skip" could be possible, cant want to check and see Cheesy

This is my first play through of the game but I managed to get into crocidile temple by walking underneath the croc head.. Is this passage normally there? If not it's a ridiculous error lol

When you say, 'Walking under', do you mean swimming? the trick we use requires you to swim out OoB:

There is a small alcove underneath the croc head and you can walk in there and enter the temple. It's ridiculous how they didn't catch this . I can't record at the moment , having issues with computer. I might just record it on my phone.

Oh my god that's amazing. If that's in the original game I have no idea how I missed that... Kinda embarrassing really (I'll go test at some point)

Thanks guys. Smiley I'm just in shock for the fact that the developers missed something like this lol.

The fighting in this game is rather difficult to do quickly. I'm trying to think of some strats for enemy hordes (besides potions). In the swamp section I would use magic to take the armor off enemies then switch to the claws and take them out.

Also, I feel like you can reach the dragon cave with placing only two of the dragon eyes. I came close earlier but gave up.

For the swamp, you can (I think, since it works on PS2) pretty much skip the whole level with waterslashing anyway, which you can find in the google doc of the PS2 version: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1VZ6tQnQD4Y-n-P8OLjRZxzCeWrtSSVzbEsIBqkuxCS4

This is the video of it:

Yeah I just looked at that lol. So does that mean we skip the claws? I saw in the unfinished route you skip them but I bought mine from the shop in my casual playthrough. Idk what the normal way of getting them is..
You normally get them in the swamp at some point, I can't even remember how because it's been so long since I did that game casually, but it's probably in a chest somewhere or from an NPC
