So, just as the title implies, I'm looking for any interest in anyone helping out by running in a marathon to help raise some funds for the club I'm a part of for Western Iowa Tech Community College's video game design club. Right now, dates are tentative; just looking to see right now who would be interested, and I'll get some info up on it later. For now, I can give some info on the club.
The Round Table club is used for students at WITCC to discuss video games, plan events (such as going to 2014's Game Developer's Conference), and teach others some techniques for art, modeling, etc. Our website (http://rtgamedev.com/) showcases student work and various game-related articles. We also put up information on events going on. Two main events happening that we will be taking part in are Global Game Jam 2014 and GDC 2014. All donations would be going straight to our club funds which are used in part to get students to GDC.
