I recently bought an adapter for my SNES controller. The adapter has a USB port on one end and a SNES controller port on the other end. There's a strong possibility that I need to download something with this to make it work but here's my situation right now. It's showing up as working in the control panel. Whenever I try to enter inputs on my controller it doesn't register. I got no installation wizard, or any indication that my computer is reading the device properly other than the jingle you get every time you plug in a USB device. Could someone tell me what I have to do to make this device work?

Dapper as fuck.
Lemon possibly.  I bought an adapter off amazon for my girlfriend and while the computer saw it, the controller didn't work.  I processed a replacement from amazon and the 2nd one worked fine.

Was it one of these? https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B00SUYAA12/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Yeah, that's the one. I guess I'm to assume i got screwed over, thanks.

In the controller calibration does it appear every light is lit?  That's what the bad one was doing for me.

Can't get it replaced?
