I'm allowed to make this thread, right?
Never heard of this game, huh? Well, I think I'm the only person in the world that's interested in speedrunning this game anymore, but I'd like to introduce the game to the community and show just how good this game is for playing it fast. I primarily play the game as Newgame+ (You can check out the different categories here --> http://www.speedrun.com/hwvx.) so the action is fast-paced and fun to watch, and it opens up a ton of glitching opportunities. Yes, it allow "Cheats" to be used, but these are in-game cheats you unlock these by performing honestly difficult tasks in the game's challenge mode. If there are still problems with the category, I won't use it again.
Also, I know there are GameCube and PS2 ports of this game, but the PC version has quite a few version-specific glitches since it was the first version released. The first video on this post has a very odd glitch that is exclusive to the PC version, possibly because of a speed cap that was added in the console versions or something. Also, both of the console ports have some pretty terrible framerate issues which are absent from the PC version.
Here's a lot of videos I've uploaded to YouTube showing some of the strategies that would be useful for the runs.
