I just noticed it's off the 'we need to recover this' list so it looks like nate managed to get a hold of the DVD sources for better quality anyway. Maybe. I'm just guessing.

It'll be good for the others that are fucked up, if we still need them.

Got some more runs. Here's Cave Story, Chrono Cross, Crash 2, Kirby Super Star, Lego Star Wars, and Sly Cooper.

Sly Cooper, Crash 2, and Lego Star Wars all have the synch issue with the commentary gaining a slight lead on the game recording, but it's small (<1 second)
Cave Story didn't have game audio on the commentary stream, so the synch isn't frame perfect, but it's impossible to tell.

The amount of bytes to hex is only 1 byte, lol. It's to change the number from greater than 10 to 10 so that Adobe's tool doesn't complain.

I'm using the more recent VDub.

Like Pi the commentary gains a lead on the gameplay.

I've decided to stick to some smaller sized files, so if no one is doing Final Fight, Tetris Attack and Double Dragon I can probably finish downloading all of those files by tonight.

I'm at Uptown now, and the videos seem to be surprisingly still synced. (Button taps ---> gameplay movements)

that won't work because the clips aren't contiguous (will cause desync with the game stream). have to use clip1++blankclip(length)++clip2. i'll probably end up doing mgs2 myself.

mpc won't let you switch tracks because the second track is "disabled" ... i believe mplayer and vlc do though.

Sorry, I was slacking today/busy today/verifying that all data is really there in the converted to write the instructions. I'll do it tomorrow. I still don't like the fact that I'm relying on DirectShowSource for audio, so I'll probably try to find another solution.
