True, since the prelaunch version had only 27 collectibles while the launch version has 30, I would say it's two different runs but I would honestly prefer to run the pre-launch version, since the new collectibles are just a pain in the ass to get and the game has become more unstable and even more inconsistent with the recent update.

I'll still be routing it though, but to be honest, now the all collectibles category became kinda useless because with the new update, both routes would be pretty much the same.

i found some pretty consistant and fast strats that help in all quests and some help for all collectibles. im trying to really dumb down all the RNG dendant shit like the collectible in the fan and airheight hard. http://www.twitch.tv/donkeykong1254/c/4000156

For the collectible in the vent, it's just: line up and hope for the best. If I have to get if after I got the one under the blades, I usually go ragdoll as there is a higher chance that you will just drag along the floor of the vent.

Anyone got files for the pre-launch update? The save I did before upgrading keeps crashing the game for me :/

I did an all quests run of Goat Simulator awhile ago but I didn't upload it. Since Coffee Stain released Goat City Bay recently I decided to put it up. I ran version 1.0.28141 instead of the pre-launch version and my time was 9:17.

Unlocking angel goat was a key part of my strategy, so for the first six minutes I couldn't headbutt or kick anything. However, hitting things while in ragdoll mode doesn't count as harming them, so I abused that fact to knock stuff over during the first six minutes.

One more thing, I started time for this run after I deleted the save file and the game reloaded.  So, I actually started the timer before I hit play. I did this because the count down to transforming into angel goat begins as soon as the game loads. That includes time spent in the menu. If I wanted to be tricky, I could have said time doesn't begin until I hit play. Then I could sit in the menu for six minutes before I hit play, and the goat would already be angel goat when I started the run.

Hello, I'm new to SDA but according to the posting guidelines it's better to bump old threads rather than create new ones.

I've been running a lot of Goat Simulator the past week and have set WR in both maps in Trophy%.
I think there's going to end up being 2 variations of the run modifiers and vanilla running with modifiers makes the run a ton faster double jump and parachute make it trivial.

I'm sure the routing can be improved and maybe some boosts can be used in places I hope some other people join in running it the run is really fun and very technical especially the Vanilla run, the bugs seriously grate on me at times though.
Heya. I know this is bumping this thread way up there again, but this game can be speedrunned/speedran. Think of IL's (all trophies), and other categories like "All MMO Quests" and "All GoatZ craftables", with possibly more to come in the other 2 expansions. I have to say, I never knew there was animo for it all the way back in 2014
