Hey everybody!

I already read some stuff on the forum and on reddit concerning flashcarts, but there are some question that still go through my mind.

Are there some guidelines for the usage of flashcarts? Emulators are a little restricted since they run games on another speed, but has anybody compared the speed between flashcarts and original cartridges? I could imagine that saving is faster on flashcarts given how the sd cards have advanced in the recent time. But even then games that do not need loading savestates could be run from flahscarts.

Short:
1. Are there general guidelines for the usage of flashcards?
The moment I posted I found answers to this :| Other question remains though Tongue
2. Does anybody have some values for the difference between flashcarts and original cartridges on saving and playing speed?

Thank you for every answer Smiley
Thread title:
*Flashcarts, not flashcards.

That said, always check with your game's community on their acceptance of flashcarts first. General guidelines =! game specific rules.

Thanky you for the answer, I corrected the spelling in the first post. I was at card from sd card and not at cartridge...
I'm going to dig a little deeper in the communitys then Smiley
