News on the game ? Did it finish ?

Not yet.
Follow the winding path.
I know this thread is kind of dead at the moment but at this point the game seems much closer to completion and there is a volume of (to my knowledge) undiscussed tech and potential that the game has to offer.

Two major things that I have found and used while running the game are corner buffering and bhopping.
Bhopping is extremely simple and I'm sure that experienced players have encountered it casually or otherwise, but basically it is the conservation of momentum via jumping, typically off of a propane tank boost. This can be applied under many circumstances and can be used to skip large portions of otherwise complicated levels.
This can be used in conjunction to characters individual abilities, such as vertical boosts from Bro Lee or Cherry Broling to complete levels extremely quickly. It also is worth noting that with proper timing, a propane tank can be launched at an angle instead of just vertically or horizontally. I haven't found much use for this outside of the helicopter boss in area 6.

Corner buffering is an entirely different tech where some members of the cast can buffer a double jump of sorts off of a corner flip, or in some cases just a regular jump. It is performed by inputting a melee attack and a jump at the same time while jumping off of a corner or falling off a ledge. Because there are different kinds of melee this is obviously different with every character, but I've gotten the best results from Broden and the hopkick that the grenade launcher bro and some others share. This is worth practicing as it can be used in some very interesting places.

These two things are just what I have found in my own playthroughs of the game with a little bit of experimentation. If you find something new or have updates to what I've said please feel free add on.
Good luck and happy running.

The game is "completed". They released it officially already. There's been a few runs aswell on speedrun.com but nothing overly impressive so far.

I've put Broforce on hold because of the huge memory leaks. But none still I have kept up with updates and might try the run again in the near future as time allows it.
