Here are some videos to help explain the following points.

I'm going to do a Body Harvest 64 segmented run.

1. My old run from 2004 uses the ingame clock. But my new run should go off real time. For one, the clock doesn't run when indoors. But it does run on the title screen, which is just silly. Can I get some sort of decision before doing my run? Whether it's by the ingame clock or real time will definitely affect my strategic decisions.

(refer to "indoor timing" and "title screen timing" for proof)

Assuming it's real time, the next 2 issues pop up:

2. After killing a world boss you go to a red transition screen where the game automatically saves. The next world loads and shows a small cinema of you entering the level. I'll do a segment per world, so after the cinema I would pause and quit back to the title screen. Does that mean the 12 seconds or so of cinema will add to the time if it's counted by real time? I could rush to shut the N64 off as soon as the cinema begins, but that seems unnecessary. This could add up to over a minute over the entire run if it's counted.

(refer to "level transition question")

3. Before fighting a boss there is a cinema of a tower exploding. After the cinema is over you are then offered the option to save. When reloading the save you must view the cinema again. For about a second and a half before the cinema plays again you technically assume control of the player character as you're warped back into the world. Does that mean the entire cinema would be counted for real time purposes?

(refer to "boss save load timing")

Thanks.
