Greetings, all!

I'm new at this speedrunning thing.  However, I've not seen anyone else speedrun Artifact Adventure, making my first attempt a world record!

Part 1:

Part 2:

This was locally recorded over 1 day in 2 segments.  (I just -had- to take a break after the first segment!)  The combined files are about 17.7 Gig and span over 3 hours.

I'm curious what needs doing to submit this run officially to SDA and how this run affects my eligibility to run Artifact Adventure for GDQ.

The steps for submitting to SDA are all listed here: http://speeddemosarchive.com/lang/submit_en.html.
Basically, first you need to check if your run doesn't violate any of the rules. If you discover that any of those rules contradict with something in your run, or you are uncertain, just ask about it in this thread.
But if your run conforms with the rules, the next step is to post a video quality test, to check if video and audio of your recording are fine. Eventually someone from the staff will respond and decide whether or not the quality is acceptable.
If you pass both those steps, you can submit your run here.

Submitting this run does not have any affect on GDQ eligibility. The GDQ submission is another thing and works independent from normal speedrun submission. For GDQ submission, I'd like to link you to this page (note that submissions for AGDQ 2017 are aready closed).
