Hi there, I’m happy to announce the online speedrunning event known as Online Speed Buddies.
What? An online marathon benefiting a charity known as Fallen 15
Who? Fallen 15 is an organization used to help soldiers that are having problems transitioning back into society. Find out more @fallen15.org
Where? Online, Duh :p
When? The first full week in September. Dates may vary depending on submissions and volunteers. The event will be at least from Friday through Sunday on the week of September 5th (5th-11th)
Why? Why not.
Actually the event is being set up for two separate reasons, that kind of lead to the same goal. The first is help people like me that suffer from PTSD and can’t really find their place in the community, by supporting the Fallen 15.
The other reason is to help raise awareness of the smaller channels on twitch. Some of us build our channels to be closer to this great community, and some of us need financial support to get through their day to day lives. Whatever your reasons for your channel, you deserve your chance in the spot light.
Game submissions
Game submissions will be accepted from the start, and you will get a reply to your submission before the event.
