Hello,
I have been speedrunning for a little over a year now.
I run Every Trials game and stream my runs using OBS
I was at the last marathon with Trials Fusion

I have been talking a cool guy who is a member of the SDA Twitch Team and plays a fair amount of Trials also (TheGreatGilderSneeze),
I wan't to be able to submit all my runs for verification here and become more active here with the SDA community.

I was hoping someone could help me out and give me a bit of advice,

From what Iv'e been told from Gilder: "SDA submitted runs must be clean recordings of just the gameplay and game audio; no overlays/webcam/timer stuff on top of them.  Many folks do voice commentary after the run is accepted, which can be set up as an alternate audio track. "

Is this 100% how it is?
I want to do voiceovers for all my runs explaining the speedruns and routes etc, but If I was to do this on my currently existing video there would be overlays and lack of game audio. Because the only footage I have for the current World record runs is that of what has been streamed in the Past

The problem I have with what Gilder has mentioned to me is when I stream my run attempts Both Trials games, although not graphics intense they have high CPU usage with Obs running.
It would be impossible for me to record runs and stream simultaneously.
Even if this was possible and wouldn't make my pc blow up, I don't know how I would have the recording pick up only the game audio and not my voice.

I am relatively new to the community here,
I have attended a marathon with Trials but my knowledge on what I have to do, or how I can do it to submit runs that would be accepted here is very limited.

I would appreciate any Advice, So I can start to submit runs for verification and do voice overs for them
Thread title:
my personal advice, get some capturecard and capture the footage off on a second computer, if you have a laptop for example, you could potentially use a usb capturecard(although i would personally not recommend this, seeing as quality degrading and audio/video dysnycing pop up alot there(then again loads of people make them work too))

My advice for the voice-over:

record the audio commentary afterwards and add a second audio lane for that. That way it doesn't interfere with the in-game sound, and the commentary will probably be better, too.
