Hey TSA,

You posted your speedrun on your site, so I thought I'd have a look and I found something odd...

At the beginning of the game, just after you got the shield at the festival and you get out of town back onto the field, the music that plays is wrong. It plays the music of when you climb a beanstalk, when it should play the festival music.

This looks kinda fishy to me.
Care to explain?

That is perfectly normal.  I ust started a new game in TMC and that music is supposed to play then.  There is no problem.

You're allowed to edit your speedruns with music of your choice. Read the FAQ:

Yeah you're lucky... mine plays the Kaepora Gaebora theme.

Anyway the speedrun is still real...very real... Watch it.

I get the Mario Bros theme.  You know:

doo doo doo, da doo!

If I get the triforce before getting the shield, it plays Kirby music.  Apparently HAL Labs had some involvement in the Zelda series.

It plays this music in every version.  What are you talking about?

I'll record videos of North American, UK and Japanese versions when I get back home.

It plays the festival music in the European version.
But if it's different in the US version, I reckon that's it.
