Fucking Weeaboo
I've gotten to play a few levels of this, and it's just as runnable as the original. One interesting touch is that a timer appears in the lower right corner after you clear a level showing how fast you cleared a level in minutes:seconds.hundredths. For those segmenting, after each star is autosaves, so remember that if you're attempting it (the save file is easily copyable though, so no worries).
Controls are very intuitive, even for Yoshi. For the most part, it's just like the original. For Yoshi, it's point and B button to use the tongue. Z+A to jump off of him. And you can do it after a jump with Yoshi, so that should create for some interesting shortcuts, me thinks.
I'm not too far in, but that's the initial thoughts. We'll see what this game brings to the table and if it's worth that 10 score on IGN. So far, it's not too bad.
