I found a run that was almost a minute faster, http://www.twitch.tv/upinflam3z/c/2687718 (and yes, it's in the same category). There are possibly even faster times, but I just did a lazy google search and all the other speedruns seemed to be ng+. The submitted run isn't bad, even though the death could have been avoided (as seen in the linked run). However, the fact that the run is very short (7 min) and that there is a run that is faster by almost a minute means that the run isn't optimized enough.
