(little) question about profile

Oke, so I got bored and thought I'd experiment with my avatar. However it's suppose to move really anoying, but it's just standing still.

I saw PJ's avatar move. is there some restriction to number of pictures there are allowed in a .gif? Or are there any special things you need to do instead of just plain uploading the .gif file?

And now i'm asking. A secondary question: Is there any way to only put in the 'unread posts' only the posts I posted in personally? It's on 1071 atm so I'm not really using that function atm.

it's probably because it exceeded the max dimensions (120x120) and had to be resized and the animation doesn't survive the resize.

and some people have asked for that feature ... it's definitely on the list.

Thanks! I already was afraid it might have been that, so I tried resizing it, but I am ubernoob so I only have PAINT basicly. And I don't think paint can do it.

So my question is can anyone please perform this action for me and if not show me how it's done? (which easy to access free program I can use etc.)

Er wasn't it so that you could only attach a certain number of things (like 20) to all of your posts before you stopped being able to attach stuff?

yeah taiga forum doesn't have anything like that. the only two limits are currently 100 meg per individual attachment and the number of attachments per individual post which is i believe 10 or something like that. if you need to attach something else just make a new post.
