Verification Files

http://v.speeddemosarchive.com/Clock%20Tower%20NTSC%20Jennifer%20100p-v_HQ.mp4

Please refer to the Verification Guidelines before posting. Verifications are due by April 5, 2015.

Please post your opinions about the run and be certain to conclude your post with a verdict (Accept/Reject). This is not a contest where the majority wins - I will judge each verification on its content. Please keep your verification brief unless you have a good reason otherwise.

After 2 weeks I will read all of the verifications and move this thread to the main verification board and post my verdict.
Why is this listed as NTSCJ and SNES? This is the sequel to the SNES game and was only ever released on the PSX. Along with that the run is actually on the NTSCU version of the game.

Anyway I'll probably give verifying this a go sometime soon. Probably when I'm not busy preparing for tests.

This game has House of the Dead -level dialogue.

28:35
FOR THE LOVE OF GOD SOMEBODY GIF THAT AND POST IT EVERYWHERE
33:55
A game this slow-paced really doesn't deserve to have mistakes where you forget what to do next (if that's what it is). You have all the time to read your notes while they're talking...
36:30
"There is a castle in England called the Barrows Castle... and the Barrows used to live there." facepalm
42:18
Just to give the runner a tip: you could have used a visual cue in library to position the cursor just right for the next room. There's just no reason not to learn those cues and save a bit of time every time.
53:43
Oh dear... looks like a pretty big mistake right here. Half a minute :/
54:30
Coming up the stairs again another second is lost for no reason because the cursor was way out of place. It just looks really stupid when the run is so simple otherwise.

So this is a bit casual for my liking with one pretty big time loss but mostly never completely forgetting what to do so it's a
weak accept
Borderlands 2 Glitch Hunter/ router.
A / V : Good.

Cheating : None Detected

Gameplay : As noted above there are a few mistakes which could have been avoided the double dialogue at 53:43 was kinda painful to experience. however as the rest of the run was pretty clean I'll allow it to slide however.

**I would recommend Re-doing this run as this game has no apparent RNG to battle with and it should not take long to re-record a successful "flawless" attempt.

Weak accept also
Decision posted.
Like playe said this is not Clock Tower but its sequel.
Yeah, it has been corrected accordingly, but that doesn't reflect in the above info.
Carcinogen: Is it a new genre for you? You could really make your next run a bit more solid so it's easy to accept.
Well it's not exactly a fantastic game to speedrun more than a couple times. I know I could've had the cursor in the appropriate places before doing stuff, but that's not something I would want to practice unless I had a PS1 Mouse and a PS2. I ran it on a PS3 (slow loading) and really just played for the routing, did a couple runs, and submitted. Molotov has a faster Japanese version run, but I thought I'd send an English version run in anyway. If nothing else, it's extra content for SDA and someone would probably be interested in running it themselves. It's an easy WR if someone wants it and can figure out consistent run speed.
