Video/Audio Quality: NES
Audio commentary is off sync by about 3 seconds judging from the game sounds in the background, but I guess what he's saying matches more with the current action.
Cheating: Doesn't look like it, has NESbot been tested on this game?
Now to point out all the little things.
1-1: So lucky. Great boss fight
2-1: The second skeleton after using magic was made to jump. Is there a reason to do that? It seems the final magic use before the boss is delayed a couple of seconds. The extra hit doesn't make up for it.
2-2: The mini-boss is covered in the audio commentary, so I understand why it looked a little slow.
3-1: Looks like some bad luck with waiting for enemy spawns to catch up, but this stage looks great.
3-2: It seems like the runner could have moved to the other side of the mini-boss sooner and reduced the amount of time needed to move off the right isde of the screen. Missed one hit on the boss in the seconds form, but only cost about a second. Sucks about the 2 missed hits because of the bubbles.
4-1: Missed the fairy the first jump, but bairly matters. Exceptional luck all around on this level with the health pick up, landing all jumps, and ending with 1 life.
4-2: Didn't notice any mistakes, looks good.
5-1: Again, glad to see the late levels free from issues. The runner says the TAS uses a slightly faster strategy, but this looks clean, and I can understand taking a more reliable strategy.
5-2: The first (any only?) ugly looking mistake of missing a platform and falling down.
6-1: Why are is it taking so long to go in the doors!? Missed a damage boost and got knocked back a little instead. As the runner said, great luck on the mini-boss. Too bad he misses the first hit on the boss costing 3 seconds.
6-2: Good boss rush, an unfortunate time stop, but the final boss looked really clean.
How can I reject a nearly 4 minute improvement to a 20 minute run? Seems like there might be a little over 10 seconds to improve on this run with more perfect luck, and at least 5 seconds in execution.
Decision: Accept

Okay, audio and video look good. No signs of cheating that I can tell.
The big improvement here is the incorporation of the new TAS strategy (Which, to be fair, was released just after the original run was submitted). Keeping the Spear through most of the run allows for more magic to be cast, which in turn allows much quicker completion of the levels. This is only amplified by the fact that this new run incorporates the Cutie powerups to refill magic when necessary.
That's far from the only improvement, though. The new run is more aggressive, barely stopping forward movement, especially in the early levels. The basic concept of "take damage and then walk through platform-guarding enemies" remains, but is much more cleanly executed. It's also more risky, evidenced by the fact that the blue potion in 3-2 is skipped.
In short, an easy accept as an improvement to the existing run.

This run is a lot higher quality than the other run and is much cleaner than the other run: you can tell the runner has a lot more time he spent with the game and refined a lot of his strategies in addition to incorporating the TAS strat into this run. As an improvement, i see no reason to not accept htis.

Im not pick up cheats.
I´ll keep this short. Im not are speedrun expert for this game, i am just played it through couple times and i mostly know how this game working.
I have to say runner beat this game so quickly. Boss fights and levels seems went down very quick.
Game has quite crap controlls and there is easy die but runner survive alive well.
About luck things im not sure is this luck take fairies, but its look runner fill magic metter levels 4-1, 4-2 & 5-1. And its seems fairy always appear if you don,t have any magic remain. Maybe runner was just really lucky, maybe not but what ever im not know it.
Without doupt this run is
ACCEPT
Its huge improvement over previous run and everything is very well played and its quite close TAS stanard.
