Verification:
It's hard to believe that is has been about three month since Assassin's Creed II was accepted to SDA. While we are still slowly waiting for it to be added, it will be worth the wait. As part of my last comments I said,
"I wonder if this will lead to us seeing the first assassin's creed getting a speed run or the most recent brotherhood... As always time will tell..."
Still, when I saw Brotherhood up for verification, I was excited, and then when I found out the run is in French again, I was happy and irritated to know that it was the same gentleman who gave us our first assassin's creed run for SDA. Now I don't have anything against the runner, but for those of us who don't have French as a 2nd language, it can be very tricky to follow the story if you can't understand what they are saying. Granted you can translate the subtitles manually perhaps, or just play the game yourself so that you know what is happening, but I digress, I'm being nitpicky again over the language, when it has nothing to do with the speed run.
After I finish getting the files, I started watching and realized something almost immediately, this was the Disappearance of Leonardo Da Vinci DLC and not the main game. Is this a problem? Well... no, but technically speaking, it can throw some people off as to how this connects to the story if you never had the chance to play it. At least the game is kind (and smart enough) to allow you to do it at any time instead of saying a specific timeframe (or at least not from what I've seen).
As expected from the runner, these segments are pretty clean with how we see the runner run hsi way through each segment and very carefully using smoke screens and throwing knives to bypass guards. There was only one time I could tell that the runner called an arrow storm, and rarely fighting. Even so, you see him fight in the last segment, and what do you see? He throws a smoke bomb, followed by throwing knives, and then shooting people efficently.
Really there isn't much else to talk about for this run. It is a DLC campaign that ends almost as quickly as it starts, and the runner clearly shows that.
Easy Accept.
Now I know I said time well tell if we see assassin's creed or brotherhood worked on, and while this is brotherhood, really I'm not counting it yet since this is only to expand on the story and not the actual story, like a filler arc in an anime. Will we see our runner do another french Assassin's Creed game, or will someone else step up?
Once again, time will tell...

Mem 1 -- 1242486 flourines at start and end, black horse
Skip cutscene, skip cutscene, arrow strike! Kills 10 enemies, and there are exactly 10. Skips cutscene. Horse ride. Are there any warps that would be faster? I need to check a map. Skip cutscene. Follows Salai. Bad AI luck with him getting stuck behing people. Wastes 3-4 seconds. Arrows some guys. A bard shoves a woman, and it looks funny. Skip cutscene.
Mem 2 -- 1307860 flourines at start and end, black horse
Skip cutscene. Well thought out free-running route. Smoke to stun guards and avoid fighting. Groin punches galore! Skip cutscene. Arrow guys on boat, get painting.
Mem 3 -- 1241441 flourines beginning and end, white horse
Follow the dude. I always hated these sections. Arrowed dudes. Kudos for killing the civilian with the daggers. I killed them as much as possible. Did that guy just say "potato?" Not sure why the dude paused before leaving. Could just be a glitch in the game. Skip cutscene.
Mem 4 -- 1342623 flourines at start and end, brown horse
Ride horse, skip cutscene
Mem 5 -- 1350861 flourines at start, 1351011 at end, white horse
Riding a horse around. Smoke bomb and open chest, skip a cutscene. Very nice tackle!
Mem 6 -- 1351806 flourines at start, 1351829 at end
Yay for taking the painting while the guard is blinded by the smoke.
Mem 7 -- 1243194 flourines at start and end. He has obviously spent a good deal of money or done this memory before the others.
Mouse is a good choice. Aww, cute weasel!
Mem 8 -- 1253836 flourines at start.
Just a good segment.
The runner's skills are definitely there. My only concern is how much things change between segments, especially since the money takes a huge dip in Memory 7. I'm guessing that he bought a landmark before this segment or did this segment before others. Generally speaking, spending money doesn't really affect gameplay, nor does getting a different horse. It's possible that he bought smoke bombs and daggers or got some from enemies between segments; at the same time, with the extra content, the game might automatically fill the smoke bombs between memories. If the game does not automatically fill smoke bombs and daggers between memories, this is a problem.
I haven't verified many games, so I don't know if these discontinuities between segments are enough to disqualify a run. If they aren't, I will definitely accept the run.

Just finished watching the IL runs.
A/V: fine on both.
Cheating: None at all.
Gameplay: It was solid from what I could see, I haven't played the DLC so idk if there's any improvements to be made.
To be honest I was a bit skeptical when the runner said that he used a controller for all the memories except 7, but after watching the runs I could see why he chose to use a controller instead of a mouse and keyboard. (Probably doesn't matter unless you're playing a shooter anyway.)
Easy accept from me, lets get this run up asap.
